Halloween: the game having npc objectives is exactly what these games need. Now people aren’t rushing in to pvp and getting slashed to death instantly then leaving. It extends the match and provides alternative ways to play. You can still bum rush Michael Myers or you can focus on saving the NPCs, likewise, Michael can focus on hunting NPCs to win the game if he’s getting bullied by the actual players chasing him. Everyone’s happy and everyone gets to play the game their way. Absolutely mind-boggling that people are against this cool new take on Asyms.

Thanks to all the players who have joined us in Haddonfield so far during our Early Access launch for Halloween: The Game. Earlier today, our team deployed fixes for singleplayer challenges and VOIP and continues to monitor player feedback. Later tomorrow, we'll be pushing an update that introduces additional fixes for various crashes, an issue preventing Michael's downed minigame from displaying as intended, and game resolution not displaying correctly on Xbox Series S while in Performance Mode. Players can also look forward to our Day One Patch on 9/8/2026, which will bring further fixes and improvements. We're just getting started.
