I want to see the opposite of this as a video series, Francisco Lindor proofing a balance sheet for accounting, Juan Soto sourcing citations for legal, Nolan McLean calling suppliers to order inventory, etc.

In 2019, Brad Ausmus, our manager on the Angels, made the brain trust guys go do blocking drills with us. For context, Jose Molina was our catching coach. We were blocking 90 MPH sliders that day. The guys weren’t disrespectful or anything, they were actually cool guys, but he wanted them to get an actually understanding of how hard it was. It went how you would expect it to, and I actually felt bad for them at one point.

A man tried to punch a Navy soldier, who managed to dodge the blow, and responded with a reply that the man will never forget for the rest of his life.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video shows a fight between two U.S. Navy sailors in barracks, one in civilian clothes, not a civilian attacking a sailor. youtube.com/watch?v=dL3S0z… x.com/Fox_and_Goat/s…

it’s hilarious because if the yankees had judge available for this series it would have changed literally fucking nothing

Saying playing in Tampa is basically a home game for you, then losing both of those games, then coming back to your actual home field and getting swept out of the postseason in front of your other home fans

Can’t say enough how much I love that every ballpark has different environmental rules and hazards, it’s just so magical

Wrigley’s walls are covered in ivy, Fenway has a massive wall so notorious that fans affectionately refer to it as a monster, boaters are always paddling in the bay fishing for balls that leave Oracle, it’s so incredible
