Yeah, didn’t Clinton actually have a budget surplus one year? Or he paid off all foreign debts. Something like that. Then Reps get in and order a trillion worth of kit from Raytheon, Boeing, Grumman, Lockheed, etc and POOF! There goes the budget surplus.
