Roysambu!
Today, I fellowshipped with Christian faithfuls at Priesthood Fellowship Church in Kahawa West, Roysambu Constituency, during the ordination of Bishop Dr. JJ Gitahi.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Dr. Gitahi. May God grant him wisdom, discernment and fortitude as he shepherds his flock and advances the noble mission of faith and service to humanity.
In my address, I called for peaceful, credible and issue-based elections as we approach the next General Election, now less than 300 days away. With Kenyans bearing the brunt of escalating fuel prices, the prohibitive cost of living and diminishing purchasing power, the urgency for responsive and accountable leadership cannot be overstated.
Even in these challenging times, Kenyans must not lose hope. Through the power of the ballot, we have an opportunity to restore constitutionalism, entrench the rule of law, strengthen democratic institutions, revitalise our economy, safeguard public resources and rebuild a nation founded on justice, dignity and equal opportunity. Our pursuit must transcend political transition it must be about restoring public trust and reclaiming the promise of our Republic.
The occasion was attended by Jubilee Party Leader @RealMatiangi, Nyandarua Senator @methumuhia Kiambu Senator @KarungoThangwa , among other leaders.
