The way to defeat those who would silence us is to speak. Speak the forbidden truths. Speak for those who have no voice. Let your voice ring out. The cowards will, in desperation, increase the intensity of their efforts to stop the sound. But the sound of a billion voices singing (even if they are different songs) will drive back the evil that would darken our world.

“My accountant is expensive.” Compared to what? The $10,000 fee is easy to see. The $30,000 tax mistake, bad cash decision, or shrinking margins nobody catches are much harder to see. The cheapest accounting bill isn’t always the lowest cost.

A tale of two horses - both named Sam. Sam came to us in 2020. Head was down, eyes were defeated. He was broken. At 12, he had spent 8 years as a cart horse, being driven 40 miles per day, 7 days a week. When you approached him, his head would drop and his whole body would slump. But he is a saddlebred. And we wanted him to feel like a saddlebred again. Proud, somewhat arrogant and always strong. The second picture is Sam earlier this year. Head up, ears up and forward, alert and with the commanding air that a saddlebred should always carry. One of the best things we have ever done is start the Jet Star Saddlebred Rescue. Tilley, Sam, LadyBug are all worthy of saving. If it ends up my wife and I have that as the only thing we are known for, I am good.

I love #Wyoming and I love our #WyomingCapitol. Thank you to Tony Ross and all of the legislators about 8 years ago that felt this monument to our sovereignty was worth renovating. If you haven’t toured it, you need to do so. Happy Independence Day to everyone. God Bless the Great State of Wyoming and God Bless the United States of America.

In a recent Bloomberg feature, Wyoming emerges as the first U.S. state to issue its own stablecoin, the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). While still early, the effort is drawing interest from other states as a practical example of responsible innovation rather than just an experiment. FRNT is a fully reserved dollar-pegged token backed 1:1 by U.S. dollars and short-term Treasuries, with a 2% overcollateralization buffer for extra security. Reserves are held in a dedicated trust, and the token runs across seven major blockchains for easy use and transfers. It’s available on Kraken, and interest earned on reserves supports Wyoming’s School Foundation Fund. Early tests already showed government vendor payments shrinking from weeks to seconds. Legally, the structure follows Wyoming’s Stable Token Act, using a public commission and clear trust model that protects holders while allowing redemption at par. This gives the token a solid foundation with built-in safeguards, offering other states a clear template they can adapt. On a broader level, FRNT points to real efficiency gains in public finance. Faster, lower-cost payments can free up resources and improve cash flow for businesses and residents. By channeling benefits like education funding back into the community, it shows how blockchain can support practical public goals while attracting forward-thinking businesses to the state. Overall, Wyoming’s stablecoin stands out as a constructive step forward. It combines careful design with tangible benefits and positions the state as a leader in thoughtful digital finance. As more states observe the results, this approach could help shape more efficient, inclusive public payment systems across the count
Wyoming, where cattle outnumber people 2:1, became the first US state to formally issue its own stablecoin. Almost six months in, it doesn’t look like much yet — but other states are watching the experiment closely bloomberg.com/news/features/…

More stuff that I write: Sometimes leadership is as simple as doing the right things right. Everything else seems to fall in line. The difficulty comes in filtering out the noise and zeroing in on what the right thing is. I had a coach once tell me that football is really simple. Design every play to achieve 3.4 yards, execute it every time and you will win the game. At first glance, it sounds almost too basic for such a complex, physical, and strategic... davidapope.com/blog/do-the-r…

We are all lesser men.
Chuck Norris held a 183-10-2 record and was a 6x world champion in full contact bare knuckle karate. On top of that, he beat heavyweight kickboxing world champion Joe Lewis 3 consecutive times and also had a brutal sparring match with undefeated kickboxing world champion, Bill Superfoot Wallace, that lasted an hour and a half. According to Wallace, they practically stalemated and "beat the crap out of each other". Chuck was trained in kickboxing/boxing by Benny The Jet Urquidez and was also trained in BJJ by the Gracies and Machados for 20 years. Even being able to submit Carlos Machado himself on occasion. Chuck had a 315 Ibs bench press at 180 lbs bodyweight and was said to have a grip back in the day that nobody could escape from because he was so strong. Even Jean Claude Van Damme said he'd never fight Chuck Norris, despite being a kickboxing world champion himself. Chuck held a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo. Rest in peace, Chuck!

🚨 BREAKING: Wyoming’s Frontier Stable Token ($FRNT) is now live on Hedera $HBAR. FRNT is the first stable token issued by a U.S. state, launched under the Wyoming Stable Token Act and overseen by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission. The token is fully backed by U.S. dollars and short-term U.S. Treasuries, with an additional reserve buffer to maintain stability. The initiative is designed to demonstrate how blockchain infrastructure can improve public finance and payments, including: • Faster and more efficient government payments and settlements • Potential use for tax payments, fees, and public services • Lower-cost business and cross-border transactions • Transparent reserve management and financial reporting Hedera was selected as a network for FRNT because of its fast transaction finality, predictable low fees, and enterprise-grade governance, which align with the Commission’s requirements for security, reliability, and regulatory compliance. For investors following Hedera, the launch represents an example of government-level adoption of the network’s infrastructure, demonstrating how distributed ledger technology can be applied to real-world financial systems and public sector payments.
