Replying to @Feargal_Sharkey
@Feargal_Sharkey RT allegations of financial misdemeanours by multiple water companies. This is a myopic failure of government to provide a safe platform for society. But it’s time to get worried about the larger platform: in ecology & farming. Tragedy unfolding.
"Water bills set to rise more than expected."
Greed, financial engineering and regulatory incompetence has created the chaotic shambles that is the water industry. Yet they now contemptuously demand it is us the customers who must pay (again) for a mess they created.
No is the answer, no, no and no!

#Tyre, Sidon, Byblos - great cities of the Phoenicians. Byblos gave its name to the Bible, bibliophile, library. Old Israel called them Canaanites. Bombing Tyre today. The Palestinians were the Philistines of the Bible who were given the land by Egypt c. 1200BCE. Wars go on. Sad.
Robert is a young farmer who started #farming a few years ago. He doesn’t get most ecology (SFI, CS ) grants because the govt stopped registering new farmers. This must change. We need small farms and fresh minds @DefraGovUK @NFUtweets

“Farmers’ union lobbied to increase pesticide limit in UK drinking water.” Really? That’s also the way to bad farming. theguardian.com/environment/…
Is it time to bring back the #Bermigo Plan to end #Palestine_Israel conflict? Architect Dovis Miller spent a decade analysing, designing and testing a plan that bypassed all the problems of every other solution. It’s brilliantly elegant and cost effective.
Miller predicted more attacks on #Israel. 'Israel will respond with lethal force' he said. “Investors will flee #Palestine, which destitute and embittered will continue to join #militias.” We tested his alternate model, #Bermigo. It’s the only one that worked. Then he died!
Insight1 #Bermigo doesn’t require a peace deal between the countries.
Insight2 Democratic countries have never made real war on each other.
Insight3 It’s a costly and moral problem for the USA and the world.
So what’s the plan? Are you interested?
I have lost faith! @Apple is a follower. The breaking point was connecting 2 screens to my slightly fancy #M1 silicon chip #MacBookPro. Wouldn't work. Doesn't work. Everyone else has been doing it for years. Gets worse. My old 2015 MacBook Pro does connect 2! But won't [read on]
The old Pro won't daisy-chain displays. Another old industry standard. It get's worse. @Apple tech *does* work when you run #Windows on it (via #Parallels). It just needs a bit of code in the Apple OSX [Sonoma]. How #humiliating to be an Apple fan. $2.9trn value. Can't keep up!
The king who was laughed at won a farmers’ Lifetime Achievement award @FW_Awards. He saw more. A blind cabal persists in deriding, as here. So a homeopath leads Charles’ health team? Last laugh given no perfect health system? thetimes.co.uk/article/revea…

My client's fix is a story of today: @HeartInternet Help advised how to fix a default account. Now the client can't sign in. No Help unless you sign in. No password reset. Stymied. Can't msg on X without premium a/c. AI future?
There’s chat about fielders in the #Ashes2023. The one who invented the consummate cover and midwicket fielder was Colin Bland. He practised hard at Milton Senior School in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia). Playing for South Africa he demonstrated at Lords at a single wicket.
I am shocked. @Apple #Siri #Dictation does not recognise "revere". It does "review" and Paul who rode to muster an uprising. But the missing verb must surely reflect common usage (and poor tech). If #reverence passes from our culture, no wonder there are so many toxic elements.
I am on full fibre >100mb download watching @NOWTV_It @AshesCricket and the resolution is foggy — cannot read the score or see the ball. It's not the computer, it is perfect. Its Sky's Now delivery
