Here are my 5 myths about D3 basketball...
1) D3 is essentially like playing club or intramural
2) D3 is a casual commitment
3) D3 players are short/not-athletic
4) D3 teams don't travel
5)D3 players aren't good enough to play professionally
What else did I miss? #D3hoops

We are in the midst of a Graduate Assistant search (we are in the final stages so please nobody else apply) & there were some things that popped up that I thought would be worth sharing to young people trying to get into this business.
So, a thread.
Wesleyan looking like a true National Championship contender right now! #WesleyanVsEmory

Division 3 Schools in Wisconsin twitter is mad at me today and they don’t realize my favorite basketball team growing up was *checks notes* Lawrence University! D3 Hoops is in my blood so suck it! #GoVikes #LU #AlexanderGymnasivm
Our “sleeper team of the week” this week is @drew_mbb !
Winning 9 of their last 10, with an impressive win over #21 Catholic and a squeaky close loss @ #4 NYU in the past week, the Rangers stock rises!
@MikeMcSloy @dylanmusial_ got the boys playing right now!

NCAA and D3 Hoops has to get away from worrying about flying teams in the NCAA tournament. The best teams deserve to host at this level. NCAA has plenty of money to fly teams places. You should not play a whole regular season and earn hosting rights and then have to travel.

Please stop disrespecting NCAA Division III athletics. If a kid wants to announce their decision on social media or even a offer...they should do so. They've earned it. Just like D1 and D2 athletes. Want to know why there are SA's that will not return phone calls & texts from D3

Message for all those involved in hoops who say things like “if you averaged 5 ppg in Hs, just go d3 and play.”
Our incoming freshmen averaged double doubles, 20 ppg etc....D3 coaches recruit, we don’t just take whoever walks in the door. Come see a practice, out doors are open.
