So Miley released a song criticizing how no one wants to dance... and then don't wanna dance and perform herself. Literally made a song calling herself out. Kinda chic of her.

My tenth studio album, BASS PERSUADES, is yours September 18th.
Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong.
Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me.
Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album. ❤️ Miley

Her fairy godmother Dolly Parton died her house burned down, the man she loved for over a decade cheated on her, she lost her voice, and her own father walked away when she needed him most. And through it all, she kept going, holding herself together. My heart aches for her.

Dolly Parton about the first time hearing ‘Wrecking Ball’’ by Miley Cyrus :
‘’The first time I heard “Wrecking Ball” it hit me the same way it did the first time I heard “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. I was driving when I heard that one and I almost wrecked.’’

Dolly Parton was the one who named Destiny hope ‘’Miley Cyrus’’:
“Miley wasn’t really Miley. She was born Destiny Hope, but she smiled all the time. So everyone would say, ‘Smile for me!’ Billy Ray then said we should call her Miley, and that I should be her godmother. I said, ‘YAY!’’

The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts.
What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. 🦋
I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. 💖 @dollyparton
