More than a decade of Bitcoin art, from the early days of Paralelní Polis to today's culture wars.
I talked to @BitcoinMagazine about art, freedom, Ztohoven, and how Bitcoin has changed along the way.
See you at Bitcoin Amsterdam with @zetra_art and @ryrartist!
"The freedom to remain an independent artist." --@CypherpunkNow on what bitcoin gave him

I built my own website. FINALLY!
After years of being held hostage by web admins, I saddled up Claude + ChatGPT and built the whole damn thing myself.
Almost 30 years of work. 1,200 images. Screenprints, GIFs, originals, Mystic Sk8 Cup, Volcom, portraits, skateboards and more from Martin Fischer to CypherpunkNow.
Turns out I’ve made a lot of shit over the years. Now it’s finally all in one place:

Go dig around and let me know what you find...

if you have a @COLDCARDwallet 1st obviously move coins to a different HWW like @blockstreamjade, @trezor, @ledger etc BUT if you were affected by sweep attacks: do NOT smash or throw it away. don't get hopes up, but it may be useful to weakly prove ownership to a whitehat sweeper
So what’s the deal with the new algorithm? I’m suddenly seeing a bunch of people I haven’t seen on my timeline in ages. Maybe X is about to become fun again?
On the wall.

@CypherpunkNow brings us " Bitcoin White Paper 2026 — 5 Minutes to Midnight." A Hand-pulled 13-color screenprint using custom-mixed inks on premium matte fine art paper. 100 × 70 cm (39.4 × 27.6 in)
As described by the artist;
"We find ourselves moments before impact.
A burning Bitcoin meteor cuts through the sky, while the bankstersaur counts what he believes still holds value. But his watch reads five minutes to midnight.
Time is nearly up.
Set within a lush, overgrown environment, the scene contrasts apparent prosperity with inevitability. The system still appears alive yet its trajectory has already been set. The Bitcoin meteor cannot be stopped.
A precisely hand-pulled, 13-color screenprint, the work merges classical engraving aesthetics with contemporary digital language. Capturing not an explosion, but the quiet certainty that one era is ending, and another is about to begin.
This work is released as a B1 format edition of 50 pieces, with 5 artist proofs. The piece presented at BTC Prague is number 7 from the edition."
Can’t wait to meet those of you coming to my home city for this.
