When they call you Islamophobes, I want you to remember that 200 years ago, in Chios, 42.000 Greek Christians were massacred by the Muslim Turks and 52.000 were sold into slavery. Never forget that.

Relics Explained: Why your dead body is still precious (link below)
Relics are something that inquirers and those outside the Church often find strange, disturbing, or even unacceptable. But the truth is that death itself is the scandal, not our reverence for the body that God has sanctified. The Christian understanding of the body is inseparable from the promise of the resurrection, and the relics of the saints are a reminder that even in death, the body remains connected to the person and can continue to be a vessel of God's grace.

If I were a Christian Id pick Eastern Orthodoxy. It holds closest to the unbroken apostolic traditions and early church practices without later Western additions or the endless splits of Protestant groups. The focus on mystery continuity and lived faith over pure rationalism or hierarchy feels most coherent.

WTF has happened to primary care/family medicine? Has anyone else noticed they have morphed into vaccine and SSRI's street dealers?

If you had told me when I was in high school in the 1990s that someday the lead singer of Jars of Clay would say “I’m no longer sure who God is” and the lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins would say “Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior” I would have spit out my Slim Fast and stained my flannel shirt
The Orthodox Church is the only Church that still officially upholds the duty of the Christian State to God. The rest, including Rome in Gaudium et Spes and the religious liberty errors in the other documents, has rejected its former Christian state teachings. Protestants are 99% opposed to a Christian state. Much like the anathema service, this is yet another clear proof as to which Church teaches the same thing as the first millennium church - proving which is the one, true Church.

I give you a car. Before, you were confined. Now you’re free to drive anywhere. But you have to maintain it.
Still a free gift.
A guy I grew up Protestant with showed up at Divine Liturgy today. Just like me, he turned agnostic as an adult then started researching Church history. When one is searching for Truth, they will end up at an Orthodox Church. Glory to God Almighty! ☦️♥️
In the world we live in…my guess is FRAUD. 👎🏻
