While new Layer 1's are nice yolo plays, they will take 1-2 full cycles to establish Developers, culture, and all the pre-requisites for innovation.
Meanwhile you can simply find the innovating catalysts for this cycle. It will likely be on established layer 1's and/or Roll-ups.
