In 1893 a Norwegian scientist deliberately froze his ship into the Arctic ice, let it drift for three years, and lost not a single man to scurvy or anything else. Then he walked off it and spent nine months in a hole in the ground eating bear.
Fridtjof Nansen was thirty-two, a zoologist with a doctorate on the nervous system of a worm. His theory was that the polar current would carry a ship across the top of the world if the ship was built not to be crushed. He built one. He called it the Fram, took twelve men, and sailed into the pack.
For three years they lived in the dark and the cold with no fresh food arriving from anywhere. On every previous expedition that had meant scurvy, the disease that had killed more sailors than the sea. Nansen's crew had none. They shot polar bear and seal, and ate the meat fresh and barely cooked, as the Inuit did. The doctor on board had almost nothing to do.
In 1895 Nansen and one companion left the ship on skis to make for the Pole. They got further north than any human had been, turned back, and were caught by winter on an empty island. They built a hut of stones and walrus hide, and for nine months they ate bear meat and walrus blubber and nothing else. No vegetable, no grain, no fruit. They came out in the spring fatter than they went in.
Then they walked home.
Nansen went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize, and lived to 68.
Every schoolchild is taught that a diet without vegetables will rot you from the inside. Two men spent a winter underground on nothing but fat and meat and came out fit to walk across the Arctic, and that was 130 years ago.
Welp, it’s been a good run
Researchers built an AI that doxes any "anonymous" reddit account in under a minutes for $2.
eth zurich and anthropic published a terrifying paper proving that "practical anonymity" on the internet is officially dead.
they built a fully autonomous ai pipeline that takes your pseudonymous posts, extracts your identity signals, searches the web, and figures out exactly who you are. no human investigator needed.
the numbers are actually mindblowing..
- 67% of hacker news users identified correctly
- when the system makes a guess, it is right 90% of the time
- it even unmasked scientists whose interview transcripts were explicitly redacted for privacy
the scariest part? even time doesn't protect you.. they tested users who took a full year break and changed their interests. the ai still matched their old and new profiles with 90% precision. it sees through your persona changes like they aren't even there.
there is no defense against this. the agent splits the work into tiny, benign tasks like "summarizing a profile" or "ranking candidates." no api safety guardrail is going to flag it because no single step looks malicious..
every throwaway account. every "nobody will connect this to me" comment. it’s all just searchable micro-data now.
America could really use more of these schools @elonmusk
Blacksmith graduate Paul Reilly created this masterful 7 foot tall door with a Roman arch inspired by Bottaro for his capstone project. Truly a capstone for the ACBA record books, Paul's composition and articulation of shape and curve are displays of his dynamic drafting skills and technical expertise. Paul, we can't wait to see the work you produce in the coming years!

ISA’s Quantum Flux Transformer harvests energy from empty space itself.
It uses a specially wound toroidal coil that forces magnetic field lines into a single point at its center, creating what they call a magnetic singularity. When the magnetic field is compressed this way, it self-organizes and begins pulling in ambient quantum energy from the vacuum to resist the stress. This energy is then converted into usable electricity in the output circuit.
You start the system with one small initial charge. It immediately produces significantly more power than it consumes. A portion of that excess output is fed back into the input, allowing the system to power itself. As this feedback loop continues, the magnetic field grows stronger and the output keeps increasing.Within minutes, the device becomes self-sustaining and produces stable electricity with no ongoing external power source.

I’ve spent my life around people who knew how to make money when everything fell apart. So when I started looking into George Soros, I recognized something.
One currency collapses and he walks away richer. A nation’s economy breaks and his name turns up again. Then again. And again. At some point you stop calling it luck and start asking if it’s a pattern. In this one I walk through the crises — the Bank of England, the countries that never recovered — and I lay out what keeps repeating. I’m not here to tell you what to think. I’m here to show you the playbook and let you connect the dots. Because once you see how this works, you can’t unsee it. This is one of the most important things I’ve looked into, and I want you to watch it with your own eyes.

$32,500. That's how much on average the current system costs your household every year in direct extraction through energy bills, inflation, healthcare overcharges, taxes, and banking fees - plus data royalties you should be receiving but aren't. Most people shrug at those numbers. A $200 electric bill. A $3 ATM fee. A grocery bill that crept up again. None of it feels like a crisis in the moment. But run the math over a lifetime and it'll make you sick.
If you invested $32,500 annually into a basic S&P 500 index fund averaging 10% historical returns — instead of losing it to extraction machines — you'd have $2 million after 20 years. $5.8 million after 30 years. Over a full 40-year career? $16.4 million. That's what the extraction is costing your family in lost compounding over a single working lifetime. Sixteen million dollars — bled out in utility bills, overdraft fees, PBM markups, inflated groceries, and a trillion-dollar data economy that uses your life as raw material and pays you nothing. The difference between generational wealth and paycheck-to-paycheck isn't your work ethic. It's the extraction. Kill it and the math changes for every family in America.

“Neither money nor worldly possessions, neither science nor authority, will bring to you the sweet rest of paradise, at which you can arrive only by the noble knowledge of the self. In that you may clothe your soul; it is the pearl which is not eaten by moths, and which no thief takes away. Seek it, and you will find a noble treasure.”

I remember hearing about this story right after I listened to the podcast The Final War by Max Lebow. Too synchronous for comfort..
9 months have passed and this still has no explanation
Hu Lezhi remains one of the strangest events ever recorded on Ethereum
February 2025
- a Chinese programmer burns 603.38 ETH
- around 1.67 million dollars
- all sent to the zero address
- each burn includes long messages about mind control tech
and a Chinese hedge fund called Kuande Investment (WizardQuant)
the main burn: 500 ETH
tx hash: 0x5e8bef5dcb69206fa1bacc8d0b0c0204e12f1e45483d12b9f69dc1829ac74315
message accuses two executives, Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi, of using brain-machine weapons on employees
more burns that same week:
- 70.36 ETH
“wild animals becoming digital puppets controlled by machines”
- 33.03 ETH
“a victim slowly losing all desire until becoming a full digital slave”
total burned: 603.38 ETH
all confirmed on Etherscan
the same wallet sends 711.52 ETH to a WikiLeaks donation address
591.62 ETH in a single transfer
the message includes a long note where he says he has been monitored since birth by a “brain-control organization”
nine months later, we are left with:
- 603 ETH burned
- 711 ETH sent to WikiLeaks
- a hedge fund that never replied
- a programmer who disappeared after leaving his final thoughts
the blockchain remembers everything
but nobody can explain what really happened

The Pirate Party in Iceland was a hacker and internet activist-led movement that gained widespread support and passed major updates to Iceland's constitution by overwhelming margin.
They proved that regime change is possible.

Crazy Anti Aging Discovery
A new study from Emory University reveals that psilocin, the active metabolite of psilocybin (from psychedelic mushrooms), can delay cellular aging and extend lifespan. 👀
Human cells lived over 50% longer, and mice treated with psilocybin lived 30% longer, with improved physical aging signs like fur quality and hair regrowth.
The research suggests psilocybin enhances DNA repair, reduces oxidative stress, and preserves telomeres - key factors in aging.
This breakthrough points to psilocybin’s potential as a powerful anti aging therapy, beyond its known mental health benefits.
