It’s because we cheer for laundry. I don’t subscribe to the theory that my loyalty to coaches/players follows them to other institutions. My loyalty continues with athletes that extinguish their eligibility with Iowa State or leave early for the pros. It’s the same with coaches. An athlete leaves ISU is worse (in my eyes) than an athlete that was never here.
