BREAKING: Costco is now rationing motor oil for the first time in history, limiting members to one transaction and a maximum of 2 units every 7 days on its Kirkland house-brand full-synthetic, which now sells at $58 for 10 quarts after going for as low as $30 before the war, per the retailer's own listing.
Motor oil comes out of the same barrel as gasoline and diesel, and with fuel refining margins at records, refiners are finishing crude into gasoline and diesel rather than lubricant base stocks, while the Gulf base oil supply that moved through Hormuz is disrupted. Two automakers have already warned of dwindling motor oil stock.

Ratko Mladić je bil 22. novembra 2017 pred Mednarodnim kazenskim sodiščem za nekdanjo Jugoslavijo spoznan za krivega genocida, zločinov proti človečnosti in vojnih zločinov ter obsojen na dosmrtni zapor.
Obsodbo je 8. junija 2021 potrdil pritožbeni senat, s čimer je ta postala pravnomočna.
Zločinov, ki so bili ugotovljeni in dokazani pred mednarodnimi sodišči, ni mogoče izbrisati z zanikanjem, političnimi izjavami ali zgodovinskim revizionizmom.
Povsem nesprejemljivo je, da se iz vojnih zločincev ustvarja narodne junake. Obžalujemo, da smo ob njegovi smrti priča poveličevanju njegovih dejanj in ustvarjanju novih napetosti v regiji.
Slovenija obsoja vsako poveličevanje vojnih zločincev in vsakršne poskuse relativizacije zločinov, ki so zaznamovali najtemnejša poglavja evropske zgodovine in so v nasprotju z evropskimi vrednotami.
Spoštovanje žrtev, resnica in odgovornost morajo biti temelj miru in sprave.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 Elmedin Konaković held a press conference in response to the glorification of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić in Serbia.
He announced the withdrawal of all staff from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Belgrade whom the Ministry has the authority to recall, the transfer of consular services to the Embassies in Zagreb and Podgorica and the Consulate General in Novi Pazar, the suspension of bilateral meetings, and the reduction of communication with Serbia to the lowest possible level.
Minister Konaković also announced intensified diplomatic engagement with the European Union 🇪🇺 and its Member States, the United States 🇺🇸, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, and the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

The images from Ratko Mladić’s funeral yesterday in Belgrade were shocking.
Ratko Mladić was a convicted war criminal. He was responsible for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. He died while serving a life sentence for the Srebrenica genocide and other crimes.
The elements of official support and the presence of some senior Serbian officials at the funeral are deeply regrettable. They demonstrate a failure to confront a dark chapter in Europe’s recent history and contradict the values underpinning Serbia’s path towards the European Union.
Our thoughts are with all the victims of the crimes committed in the countries of former Yugoslavia.
