I have a hot take.
A literal one at that.
If they made Broly canon, then they can do the same for us Shadow Dragons.

If you had experienced bad weather on Thursday, I do apologize.
An adversary had come, and so I had to smite them with the fury of a god.

When people keep bringing up “he considered it to be a side story”, keep in mind that he had played with the idea of retiring from Dragon Ball ever since the Frieza saga ended.
Fans kept wanting him to create more, and so he did.

The Shadow Dragons were born of magic, one of the most powerful forms of energy in the universe. The minus power resulting from years of continued use of the dragon balls gave them incredible strength and abilities unmatched by any other life form.

All this talk about how SSJ4 is not as strong as SSG or SSB, but I don’t buy it. Throughout GT, Goku elevated SSJ4 by constantly borrowing energy from everyone else, which looked like a precursor to the concept of the SSG ritual.

🧵on this Dragon Ball GT becoming canon discussion:
The idea that they can find a way to canonize GT after Dragon Ball Super can work, but there are some problems that get in the way of that idea.
The most obvious being Goku is pursuing the power of gods, as is Vegeta.
