I just want to take a moment to genuinely appreciate the @base team. You’re not just building infrastructure, you’re building people.
Every interaction I’ve had, whether through support tickets or casual chats, has felt like talking to teammates, not just a support desk. You’re present, kind, and truly committed to helping builders succeed, no matter the stage they’re in.
I’m also proud to share that I’ve joined the Base Advocate team, which has allowed me to connect with amazing builders, support users in the Base Discord, and get to know the core team even better. It's been an inspiring journey so far.
Huge thanks to:
@jessepollak – As the founder of Base, you’re constantly promoting and amplifying people and projects that are active in the ecosystem. It’s not your job to do that, but you do it anyway, and it shows how much you care about the community. That kind of leadership is rare and deeply appreciated.
@CryptoStatuette – Always championing builders, creating space for us to be heard, and helping us make real impact within the ecosystem. Your support is felt.
@EvSlatts – You’ve been closely supporting me and my team, offering constant guidance and encouragement. You’ve helped us stay focused and build with purpose.
@nameisnaemis – Always ready to answer questions, even the ones that aren’t directly related. You do your best to help every time, and that kind of support means a lot.
This is why Base feels like home for builders. A place where your effort is recognized, your voice matters, and your growth is supported.
Thank you for believing in us. Let’s keep building, together.

Everything started for me with this post
First of all, I want to thank @CryptoStatuette , the person who helped my post get noticed and made it possible for this journey to begin.
And @svmvn , for a sentence that will stay with me forever:
“I’m glad you submitted a ticket, because I was looking through the forms for your account. Welcome to the Advocate Program!”
Throughout this journey, many people helped me, and I learned so much from them. One of them was Isabella, and I had the honor of serving as one of the moderators of the Base Reddit community for three months.
This collaboration was an incredible experience, one that gave me the confidence to keep moving forward with even more motivation and prepare for bigger beginnings.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. Getting to know and work with you was truly valuable to me, and I sincerely wish you all the best
@ZacPrater ,@cb03c66 ,@remaonchain
@biewen_ ,@0xKacperrr0
And finally, I want to thank my good friend @CyberEliteX who encouraged me to get involved with Base and inspired me to begin this journey. At the time, I didn’t know where this decision would lead me, but today I’m glad I trusted their suggestion.
Some journeys come to an end, but the memories, experiences, and people we meet along the way stay with us forever

Not bad 😁 MetaMask was my first wallet, and I've been using it alongside Coinbase Wallet over the years.
I don't really have a main wallet, so this is a pretty good result for me. What score did y'all get? 👀
MetaMask just turned 10 years old. 🦊

What you need to know about @base airdrop anxiety 👇
Many people have been feeling anxious lately due to what KOLs are saying — worried they've missed out on airdrops because they haven't done certain things.
But here's what you need to understand:
The content displayed on Guild and Basename is entirely based on your wallet address — nothing else.
Guild and Basename are simply front-end display platforms. Your wallet is the real subject. Even if you've never used either platform, the data has always been tied to your wallet and hasn't gone anywhere.
⚠️ Stay Alert
Don't believe rumors
Don't click on links sent by strangers
Don't trust unverified information
Where Things Stand with Base Token
Base stated in September 2025 that they were still exploring the Token direction, but as of now, there have been no further official updates.
Focus on What You Can Control
Instead of feeling anxious, put your energy into things that actually matter:
- Explore the features of @baseapp
- Invite your friends to join Base App
- Dive deeper into the Base ecosystem
- Actively participate in community activities
- Try building your own Base product
The Base world is big enough — there's a place in it for everyone. Base is for everyone. 🔵

.@svmvn literally onboarded every single person on the growth team at Base. He's the operator who made our team function. Community, ops, and everything in between.
Whoever hires him next is getting a unicorn

The past two days have been some of the saddest days I’ve had in crypto.
Yesterday it was lovely @svmvn , and now @ZacPrater , I truly don’t have the words to describe how I feel
What is going on here?
Dear @Base Community, very sad to share that I was affected by the recent 14% layoffs at @coinbase.
I am proud to say I have made my mark on the ecosystem, coming from the community and growing to support so many amazing builders on @base.
If you were launching on Base, you know me as the "virtual events" & "mini campaign guy". Putting together a campaign funnel for a successful launch on Base. Hosting Livestreams, X Spaces, Reddit AMAs, Discord Events, YouTube Campaigns, DevRel videos and more online activities.
It was an honor to work for such an amazing ecosystem, and I will miss you all going forward. I will continue to build in market and support teams building the forefront of technology.
I will miss hosting weekly Reddit AMAs, X Spaces, Livestreams and other Virtual Events. I will miss taking random calls with North American teams to find ways to support them. I will miss a lot of things....
Thank you to @svmvn @jconnorholliman @CryptoStatuette @wbnns @hughescoin @XenBH @RyanGittleson for supporting me. Thank you to @jessepollak for allowing me to work at my dream company. @base.
Although this is sad, its only the beginning. I look forward for whats next.
My DMs are open for new opportunities,

hey frens, very sad to share that i was affected by the recent 14% layoffs at @coinbase.
i’m leaving alongside incredibly talented colleagues who i've spent nearly everyday building with. we became a family through all the blood, sweat, and tears of everything we tackled together.
i joined @base right at the beginning of mainnet launch in august 2023.
during this time, i drove the growth of our community platforms, scaling our discord, reddit, x spaces, and livestreams to build deep user engagement.
but i was much more than just a community guy. as my past manager @wbnns put it, our small team operated like spec ops, wearing many hats and tackling complex issues as they surfaced. i managed cross-functional operations, nurtured key external partnerships, uplifted team members, and optimized processes by finding gaps and building seamless workflows.
i have grown exponentially during my time here. this hurts, as i truly hoped to stay at coinbase for the rest of my career, but i gave it my all and am walking away profoundly grateful for this chapter.
thank you to the leaders who guided me, the amazing team that supported me, and the passionate community members i've had the honor of connecting with.
i am now actively seeking my next opportunity. if your team needs a versatile operator who specializes in community growth, cross-functional operations, and bridging gaps to make teams run flawlessly, i would love to connect.
dms are open :).
