Brisket with @DadsSeasonings Brisket Rub, Greens with @PoppaEarles Spicy and @TheHeatland EDC, coleslaw and biscuits. The brisket was not as moist as I would have liked, but the flavor was on-point [no pun intended] and still tender. The biscuit were dry, too 😂 Burnt ends coming.

Last night I was able to join a private event at one of the most iconic BBQ spots in the country - @franklinbbq I'll start off by saying Aaron is a really cool guy, and spent a lot of time giving us a tour of the pit and explaining the insane amount of work that goes into a typical day at Franklin BBQ. He also entertained a lot of questions from the group - it was really cool. The food was incredible. Ribs - great bark, flavor, and super tender//moist. Pulled pork - awesome. Turkey - phenomenal. I wasn't expecting to say that about the turkey, but it was perfect. Sausage - great. I only had a small piece, but it was good. BRISKET - this is the ultimate example Texas brisket. Bark, flavor, moist, perfectly tender. I ate quite a bit of it, and was really too full to eat much of the sides, which were all good. I should have tried some more of the sauces, but I already had the meat sweats before I thought of it. If you're ever in Austin and have a couple hours to wait in line, you're not going to want to miss the chance to try it.

Leaving the free state of Texas, heading back to communist Washington state. Great trip - food and people were awesome. Also have a good sky waitress story for @MrWillis907.

Gumbo, boudin-stuffed poblanos [there's a pepper in there somewhere], maque choux. Also fried a few shrimp for decoration . All powered by @PoppaEarles Hot and Spicy. I sneezed at least 20 times making this.

His and hers French bread pizza. Pepperoni and mushrooms on one, anchovies, jalapenos, and fresh tomatoes on the other. Both topped liberally with @FireHatchRubs Survivor. Guess which one is his and which one is hers? 😂

Got my order from @MarlissProducts and made 2 kinds of wings. 1 Sweet BBQ - my wife's favorite, 1 Chicken + Florida Citrus - my favorite. With cilantro lime rice and pico. They were awesome 😎 As you can see, Cedrick would *really* like some. @StewsSauce - thanks for the recommendation. They're now in my arsenal! 👊💥🔥
