It's very simple. You are going to make things. I'm going to make people buy those things. We will get along famously.

I love Quebec and the idea of Quebec. Taking the French love of life, beauty, and food, cultivating it in a region similar to my New England is special. I adore the people as well. Anyway had leftover foie gras for breakfast.

Isn't it fascinating how all these new AEO tools manage to get away with charging so much for simple AI prompt tracking? All of them do the exact same thing: send a prompt to an AI model, get the response, check if your brand shows up. Repeat for a few hundred prompts. Show charts. And the data itself is not particularly hard to get. There’s a number of companies that scrape AI assistants and search engines and sell this data to anyone. So you could easily vibe-code your own prompt tracker in a weekend. My colleague Glen Allsopp (@ViperChill) did exactly that. He vibe-coded a simple AI prompt tracker to test a few things and it costs him just $12/month to run. Meanwhile, some AEO platforms charge $250-400/month for essentially the same kind of tool. To be 100% clear: I'm not saying AEO tools are useless. It's good to have a benchmark of where you stand and be able to track your progress over time. But thre's no reason to charge $400/mo for it. Prompt tracking is a commodity. Which is exactly why AI prompt tracking in @Ahrefs starts from just $50/month. There are many other things in our platform that are very hard to pull off and therfore cost a premium. But AI prompt tracking is not one of them.

Started using X Money. Really great interest rate, easy to set up, but it has to be the slowest ACH setup I've ever seen. Like 2 weeks.

I kind of want to transition my account into one that makes up crazy conspiracy theories so if I die everyone has to go back and read my timeline to see what one I hit the jackpot on.

I spent my morning learning about the koro epidemic that struck Singapore in late October 1967. That's what happens when I don't work on a Monday I guess

I was a bit sad not to get to watch the fallout of Spurs going down last year... But it would be hilarious if after all that and the spending spree it happened this year.

It's funny seeing @BrentfordFC at the top of the table- they were the very first football match I ever saw live vs @Official_Darlo in Darlington. I have a shirt from that game in my office. Darlo beat Brentford that day- also the Brentford goalie punched his own centerback during the game. Not sure what that was about. A tale of clubs though since then with very different outcomes...

Remember during COVID how people got really into sea shanties? That was a weird time.
