My message calls for a diplomatic intervention to avoid the extreme Killings, abductions, and fabricated charges against human rights and civil rights activists in Tanzania, to promote Justice, peace, and the protection of human life in Tanzania that has already gone Your Excellency, Ambassador Will Trachman, welcome to Tanzania We, the people of Tanganyika, are still mourning deeply following the alleged mass killings of our fellow citizens by CCM. We continue to live in fear and uncertainty in our own country, worried about our safety and the preservation of our lives. Incidents of abductions, acts of cruelty, cases that we believe to be politically motivated or unjust, and the lack of accountability have continued to create fear among citizens. We are also concerned about the alleged involvement of some state authorities, or the failure of certain law enforcement institutions to protect citizens' rights and security adequately. Your Excellency, as a representative of a great nation that upholds democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and the protection of human life, we respectfully appeal to you to support diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving justice and accountability in Tanzania. We ask you to help advocate for meaningful action in the following areas, which I have categorized from A -F A.Ensuring justice in the coming Tundu Lisu decision case on November 6, with his case handled fairly and in accordance with the rule of law, the right to a fair hearing, and all applicable legal protections. We also call for the case to be dismissed if it is established that it has no legal basis. B . Ending day-to-day abductions. Help advocate for an end to abductions and ensure that the safety and security of all citizens are protected without discrimination. C. Support the process of a new constitution. Help promote an inclusive and transparent process toward a new Constitution that reflects the will of the people and upholds human rights and democratic principles. D.Protect the freedom of the press and expression. Defend the freedom of the media, citizens, and civil society stakeholders to express their opinions, criticize those in power, and participate in public affairs without intimidation, harassment, or fear of retaliation. E.Establishing the truth about our missing and deceased related to the October 29 massacre to date; establish the whereabouts of our relatives who have been killed, reported missing, or detained in police stations and undisclosed locations. F. We need to know where our loved ones are, the circumstances surrounding the deaths of those who have died, and what steps are being taken to hold accountable anyone found responsible for violations of the law. We also wish to remind you of the commitments and positions you expressed before the United States Senate before your swearing-in as the U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania. We respectfully urge you to remain faithful to those commitments and use your diplomatic position to encourage concrete measures that will help protect human rights, promote democratic principles, and restore public confidence in justice and accountability in Tanzania. We appeal to your conscience and your commitment to human dignity. The people of Tanganyika deserve truth, justice, accountability, and the freedom to live without fear.
