Another hand drawn picture in the little 4x6” sketchbook. Dale Earnhardt’s #2 Wrangler Pontiac. Drawn with pencil, pens, sharpies, gel pens, and prismacolor colored pencils and markers. It’s a bit rough and far from perfect, but some fun little drawing practice!

Have you even heard of the Dale Earnhardt Archive? It is THE best FB group for Dale Earnhardt content out there. No AI generated crap, no spam posts, no click farming posts, no links to AI generated ‘stories’ hosted on other websites, no gaslighting content, no death crash pics, and no “if I don’t get a ‘hi’ I’m leaving” posts 🤦🏼‍♂️. We care about the quality of content, not the amount of clicks it generates. The group is private and you have to answer three easy questions to get in as well as agree with our group rules - if you don’t, you won’t get in. I promise, once you join you won’t want to leave, the content is that good! And the membership has a large number of former crew members, sponsor reps, and even former NASCAR drivers. See you there!! facebook.com/share/g/17UWLv5…

Just listened to the Dale Jr Download with Vanilla Ice. Although they didn't dive into the exact history of the car that Vanilla Ice claims to be the test mule that Dale Earnhardt drove back in 1973 it is my firm belief that the car they talked about is not the test mule that Dale Earnhardt drove back in that late summer. I gathered tons of info about that car. In fact, I wrote a 3-part story about it that is posted in the Dale Earnhardt Archive FB Group. The story is about 6000 words long - that's 11 pages of work based on interviews, newspaper & magazine articles, and hours spent researching the Internet tracking down leads, clarifying rumors and debunking falsities. Part 1: The Test Session, Part 2: Where Everyone Thinks The Car is Now, and Part 3: What Actually Happened to the Car. Join the DE Archive to read it!! You won't be disappointed! And if you have already read it, let us know what you thought about it in the comments!

This is a class act move right here. RIP Rowdy
Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race. Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.

Our 12 yr old daughter is supposed to be helping with set design Saturday night for her homeschool tutorial's end of year play. She informed her tutor she can't be there because @DaleJr is running the @CARSTour race at @RaceFairgrounds, and she has to be there. Priorities.

When @Hardees updates their FB cover photo but uses the render that still has the @McDonalds logo as an associate sponsor in front of the rear tire. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I never liked the Peter Max Earnhardt car, but it actually looks good on the Next Gen. Greag job @SkylerCurtisFox
This, as I have said, was one of the wildest, weirdest paint schemes I've ever tried to recreate. It sure was fun to try it though!

Now THAT’S a neat gift 👌🏻 Danny Lawrence - former engine builder for Dale Sr - joined us for the DJD today. He presented @DaleJr with possibly the only white helmet Sr ever wore… and quickly threw out after 10 minutes 😂
