That call on Samuel was certainly a choice... However, if that flag on Fran Brown was meant to motivate the team... It didn't work. Optics: Not good!

How can guys still be out there pushing opponents after the whistle has blown? Lucky that one wasn't called too coming off a great punt. Would've put Pitt at midfield to start.

Unnecessary risks proving costly. Untimely penalties extending opposing drives. Only difference so far is that an opposing player pulled up lame untouched on a long run rather than a Syracuse player...
