Whole lot to think about. Whole lot of time to think.
Syracuse continues to struggle against Pitt, falls to 1-2.
Postgame coverage starts now.
"Figure out who are your top guys and play those guys."
@Tim_Leonard4 continues to be confused with who Syracuse subs in and out in certain situations.
Whatever decision Fran Brown makes with who will start at quarterback against UConn, @Tim_Leonard4 wants him to pick one and stick with it.
"He's (Steve Angeli) either got to get better as the leader of the offense or they got to find somebody who is better."
@SteveInfantiNC9 gives his thoughts on what Syracuse football will need to do during the bye week following two disappointing losses.
"If (Ahmad) Miller was healthy last week, why did we see hardly anything from him?"
@BurgessLuke03 questions why Ahmad Miller has not been given more opportunities following a good game against Pitt.
.@BurgessLuke03 was confused by this comment from Fran Brown during his postgame press conference following the loss to Pittsburgh.
Not going to overreact to one drive at the end of a game, but Odom definitely showed good athleticism as well as a good sense of when to get rid of the ball and live to fight another play.
After that last interception... This isn't a "Steve Angeli should lose his job" tweet.
But this is a "You brought in too many backup QBs to not let somebody else throw a pass tonight" tweet.
Two weeks in a row Syracuse has had an opportunity to block a punt and we're left thinking "how did he get that kick off"
If nothing else, Syracuse has found some semblance of a run game. Ahmad Miller went from not seeing the field to 5 yards a carry.
Great play on defense but just another example of Angeli not getting enough on the pass when a receiver has a step on his man downfield... That trend has killed Syracuse on big play opportunities the last game and a half.
Nightmare start to the second half, but after sitting through that first quarter, it almost doesn't feel that bad?
It's not how you start...
Syracuse crawls back within one score of Pitt before the half. Ahmad Miller with the lone Orange touchdown.
Finding ways to make plays even when you're not allowed to breathe on the Pitt wideouts.
This Syracuse secondary is so so good.
Huge play on 7th and goal.
If you find a way to get into half down 10 here, that's borderline miraculous... You're legitimately in it!
That call on Samuel was certainly a choice... However, if that flag on Fran Brown was meant to motivate the team... It didn't work.
Optics: Not good!
How can guys still be out there pushing opponents after the whistle has blown? Lucky that one wasn't called too coming off a great punt. Would've put Pitt at midfield to start.
