I asked Claude to come up with 10 great ideas for human-changing technology for the future and here's what it came up with. 1. The Coal Plant Geothermal Swap New drills use millimeter waves to vaporize rock instead of grinding it. Companies like Quaise are developing them to reach 10–20 km down, where rock is hot enough to make steam almost anywhere on Earth. Pipe that steam into retired coal plants, which already have the turbines, grid connections and trained workers. The result is clean power around the clock that doesn’t depend on sun or wind, using infrastructure we’ve already paid for. 2. Off-Grid in a Box This is a refrigerator-sized unit with three parts: high-efficiency solar panels, a cheap sodium-ion battery, and a water harvester. The harvester uses metal-organic frameworks, the materials behind the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, to pull drinkable water out of even desert air. Put one next to any home and it has electricity and clean water with no grid, pipes or utility company. Roughly 2 billion people lack safe drinking water, and this skips the decades of infrastructure they’d otherwise wait for. 3. The One-Week Personal Cancer Vaccine Personalized mRNA cancer vaccines, built for the specific mutations in one patient’s tumor, are already in late-stage trials. Today they take weeks and a central factory. Put an AI that picks the tumor’s best targets and a benchtop mRNA printer in every major hospital. A tumor sequenced Monday could have its custom vaccine ready by Friday, and tailored cancer treatment would become routine. 4. A Check-Engine Light for Your Body Glucose monitors proved a skin patch can track your body chemistry 24/7. Newer sensors can track dozens of molecules at once, including inflammation markers, hormones, cardiac proteins and drug levels. Pair them with an AI that learns your normal, and you’d get warnings days before a heart attack, sepsis or cancer recurrence becomes an emergency. Medicine would shift from treating disease to catching it early, while it’s cheap and easy to fix. 5. Crops That Fertilize Themselves Making nitrogen fertilizer uses roughly 1–2% of the world’s energy, and the runoff creates dead zones in rivers and oceans. Soybeans and other legumes already partner with bacteria that pull nitrogen from the air. Gene editing and engineered microbes, early versions of which are already sold, could give that ability to corn, wheat and rice. Harvests would get cheaper, poor countries would stop depending on fertilizer imports, and a major source of pollution would disappear. 6. The Robot Construction Crew 3D printers can already print a house’s walls in days. Add robots that handle the plumbing, wiring, drywall and roofing, all coordinated by AI working from the blueprints. A crew could build a quality home in about a week, around the clock, at a fraction of today’s cost. That attacks the housing shortage directly and makes rebuilding after disasters much faster. 7. Apprentice Glasses These are smart glasses with an AI that sees what you see and coaches you step by step: “Wrong wire. Quarter turn on that bolt. Stop, that pipe is pressurized.” Anyone could learn plumbing, welding, HVAC or car repair on the job, with what amounts to a master tradesperson looking over their shoulder. It could ease the skilled-trades shortage and give millions of people a fast path to a well-paid career without years of debt. 8. Wildfire Zero Satellites and AI cameras on mountaintops spot fires within minutes of starting, and some of that is already deployed. They would dispatch autonomous drones stationed throughout fire country to drop water or retardant while the fire is still campfire-sized. In the off-season, ground robots would clear brush and maintain firebreaks. The goal isn’t fighting big fires better; it’s making sure they never get big. 9. The Independence Robot for Aging Parents Many countries will soon have more retirees than workers to care for them. This would be a home robot designed specifically for elder care. It would help someone stand, detect falls, manage medications and cook. It would also notice when a person seems confused or isn’t eating, and alert family or a doctor. That lets people live safely in their own homes for years longer. Humanoid home robots are just reaching early buyers now, and this is the version with an urgent purpose. 10. Ending the Organ Waitlist Surgeons have already transplanted gene-edited pig kidneys into living patients, and some have worked for months. The first step is scaling that into dedicated organ farms. Longer term, organs could be grown from a patient’s own stem cells, so the body never rejects them. Over 100,000 Americans are on transplant waitlists, and this would turn “wait and hope” into “schedule the surgery.” If I had to bet on which comes first, it’s #7 and #4, because the parts are already shipping and the work is mostly putting them together. #1 and #10 have the biggest payoff but the hardest engineering. I can take any one of these further, into how it would work, what to build first and who’s already working on the pieces.

And there you have it. Mr Diamond Hands, Mr HODL, Mr *Sell your Kidney but not your Bitcoin*, Mr *Mortgage your Home to fund Bitcoin*, has sold Bitcoin, to fund his ponzi scheme. Standby folks, more selling is coming

How many mistakes can one guy make while attempting a new PR. 1) No spotter 2) Safety bars not high enough. 3) after failed attempt, rolling the bar to your neck and not your stomach. 4) rolling over to escape and then smashing the twins on the safety bar. 5) coming to the gym in pink sweats while attempting a PR. 6) ??
