New ChatGPT model is insane. I co-created an entire playable CloneX area in Unreal Engine in less time than I spent rigging a single asset during the RTFKT peak. Say what you want about RTFKT itself, and their 3D models had some quirks, but they were a solid foundation. Unfortunately, most of us weren’t skilled enough to make the most of the digital assets. I can’t even imagine what would have been created today with all the tools now available. Or perhaps, for most people, it was always only a flip. Maybe I’m dreaming, but I really can see a world where composable assets come together to create shared digital experiences. And the world seems to be waking up to the fact that blockchains are a pretty good way to track and trade digital assets.
