I'm sure he will block me soon too once I mentioned most priests I have met or seen since discovering Orthodoxy and attending several Churches in the country, would be sitting him down privately or addressing his behavior and statements like those during Holy Confession. Though some priests would counsel parishioners on various things we do online, I think many would be far more concerned about prelest behavior like pretending to be the arbiter of who is or isn't Orthodox. They seem to be less concerned about Jay Dyer saying a bad word online than people actively trying to divide the Church bc "ortho bro bad" narratives.

In many cases online, people are not doing it because they lack respect or piety, there are so many priests with the same names, that referring to their last name is simply a way to distinguish who they are. Which is sometimes necessary when trying to have online discussions. This dude just can't separate life within the Church from his obsession online. Orthodoxy is not an internet faith like many forms of protestant churches are today. I would wager that the people he is crying about who have referenced priests this way is always online in discussions and debates and those people are probably more respectful and pious in the real world than he is, just going off this behavior and his pretentious attitude in thinking he is the authority on who is or isn't Orthodox because someone watches an influencer they don't like.
