Gross monthly earning in Nigeria is N70k. That amounts to N840k per annum. Self-contain apartment in Surulere is over a million naira. We are swimming in gross poverty. This is not life.

I don’t know if it has anything to do with our history, but Nigerians have this strange tendency to constantly compare themselves with the West.
You could say, “Nigerians, please cook with less oil,” and someone will reply, “But they eat oily food in America.”
“Nigerians, please lose weight”
Someone will reply: “But there are obese people in America”

Is it a crime to help Nigerians in the UK? 🇬🇧
This Nigerian family helped a Nigerian lady who came to the UK to study just three months ago.
They accommodated her and were collecting £300 for rent. It was cheap because renting around the school area was between £500 and £600.
When the lady got to school and met some friends who later taught her bad stuffs, she later discovered that the people who accommodated her were also renting the property. She then proposed that they reduce her rent to £200, or else she would report them to the landlord.
They disagreed, and eventually, she reported them to the landlord.
The landlord came to the property that same day and told the tenants to vacate the apartment because they had breached their tenancy agreement.
Now, both of them are looking for house.
It’s difficult to help Nigerians in the UK. 🇬🇧
