So apparently Laporta has lied again aside from a barrage of previous lies. Barcelona will not return to 1:1 again this summer because the stadium is not ready like Laporta had said. The auditors are not willing to count the seats because the stadium is not built. And they are 100% right! When you try to take a loan from a bank, they ask us to provide proof for collaterals against the loans, Laporta tells them that, ohh we have a rental property that we're going to get money from but it's not built yet, in the future we will get rent money out of it. The bank then tells you to go f*ck off and come back when the rental property is built and there's actual proof of rental income. And then Laporta tries to blame the Bank and says that the Bank is against them. Smh. If Laporta really thought we would get an approval from the auditors by building just the seats and not the stadium, he's either the biggest idiot in the world or the biggest liar in the world. And this is not all, he built some cushioned seats in the Johan Cruyff stadium to show the auditors this is what the seats are going to look like. 🤦🏻 Once again Laporta waits till the last minute to register the players, to do some kind of panic sell. PLEASE TAKE TIME IN READING THIS: Indians have such a medieval mentality. They think dogs belong under the sky, and not in a shelter, that they need to live on the streets. "Ohh I love stray dogs, I feed them biscuits and roti, and pet them, they're so cute.."Smh. What about vaccinations, vet care, grooming, training, nutritious food and shelter? Here's a thing. Dogs have evolved over centuries of evolution and breeding from wolves. Why? Because they are great companions, and slowly, we domesticated them, and made them part of our lives, living with us in our homes as family members, rather than living like wolves, hunting for survival and being territorial. AND WE HAVE MADE THEM THAT WAY! But guess what's going to happen when we let them live on the streets? They will slowly go back to their primal ways of hunting for survival and being territorial, being aggressive to breed. And that's what is happening with the stray dogs in India now. All the dog bite incidents that are happening in India are because of these primal instincts kicking amongst these street dogs. And if you leave these dogs like that, year after year, they'll become more and more aggressive, competing with humans for territory. We can try to humanize them all we want, but at the end of the day they're still animals. In a well established civilized society, no dogs should be on the streets. No modern developed country has dogs living on the streets. In an ideal world each dog should live with their own human family. But that's not possible. So, the next best thing is to put them in well-equipped, well-maintained shelters, provide them with vaccinations, vet care, grooming, training, food and shelter. And put them up for adoption. And here's where neutering a dog is important, because we already have around 60 millions stray dogs in the country and they're multiplying as we speak. Unfortunately, there will never be enough space in the shelters to keep all the 60 million dogs. And the adoption rate in shelters is only around 30%. So, in order to put more dogs in the shelters, we either have to build more shelters or euthanize some dogs that don't have any chance of being adopted like the extreme older ones or the extreme sick ones. Personally, I am against euthanasia, but no country, not even the richest ones, have enough budget to build shelters for all the stray dogs. It is cruel, but an important part of taking care of all the stray dogs. Finally, I would like to conclude that if you're a true animal lover, you should support the shelter program. If not, try living in the streets like dogs do, fending for food and shelter, putting yourself in a dog's shoes. And even after that if you're not willing to accept that, you're just a selfish person. The bigger question should not be about whether we should put dogs in shelters or not. The bigger question should be towards the government, about the shelters, if they're being maintained properly, with all the facilities like vaccinations, vet care, grooming, training, nutritious food and shelter. Donate and adopt from these shelter, instead of buying a dog from puppy making factories, where dogs are bred in bad conditions for money.
