Gorse and bramble are not scrub to be tidied. This should become an ecological crime. Why? Because thorned bushes are the parents of new trees. And, with enough scrubland establishment in the UK, there may be no need for wretched tubing, or even tree planting at all. Simples.

🚨A warning from @GuajajaraSonia: We're running out of time to protect life on Earth. Yet rich countries, like those in the EU, Norway and Australia are turning #COP15 another COP of broken promises by refusing to support "indigenous territories" in the global biodiversity deal
ALERTA! Vergonha!

To side with denial is to side with stupid. Don't do it to yourself.
Get informed, get smart, set your gut instincts and system justification aside, and consider the evidence on its merits.
Thank you.

13. Each of the scientific papers it refers to opens up a trail of citations (going forwards) and references (going backwards). So it’s easy to learn more (accursed academic journal paywalls permitting).
