We've made a change to how CubeCoders accounts work that you may wish to review. We've introduced a new set of flags to let you control when you want to hear from us via email. The defaults are as shown here - so transactional emails, security notifications and rewards/bonuses issued to your account. Sales and Offers and Product Notifications are disabled by default. If you'd like to change when you hear from us, you can change this at cubecoders.com/account Psst: Turn that last one on if you want to be amongst the first hear about AMP 3!

You can now give the gift of AMP! Simply pick "This is a gift for someone else" during checkout and you'll be able to send a copy of AMP to someone else! You can even claim it for yourself if you wish. We've also by popular demand finally got the referrals system finished! Now you can formally refer someone who buys AMP, and we'll be using these to hand out rewards at a later date ;)

We are working on some infrastructure modernisation to support the release of the AMP 3 Beta. I'm afraid this means no pretty screenshots or interesting news for a while.

AMP 3 can automatically scan for servers either in legacy panels, those set up in docker containers, or even ones you set up manually - and not only import them into AMP but in a lot of cases retain a lot of the existing configuration. How much it keeps depends on the game, but it generally does enough to save you the work of building everything again from scratch.

Themes in AMP 3 give you way more control and flexibility over layout and style. This is the Windows 2000 theme which exists as a technical exercise in making sure themes have a lot of control over how the interface looks and feels. You'll notice in the second screenshot that the navigation moves from the left hand side to the top in this theme to illustrate this. Compared to AMP 2, themes can impart far more character and style over the top of AMP. A lot of this is down to the use of shared CSS variables, so you don't have to change definitions in hundreds of different places.

Farming Simulator 19, 22 and 25 are now available in AMP! Requires a key purchased from farming-simulator.com/ in addition to a separate licence for the game itself.

AMP 3 is the first major version of AMP that has been built since the advent of modern AI. Development on AMP 3 originally started in 2023 before a lot of the modern AI tooling existed, but we have chosen to use it responsibly in areas where it makes sense to and is well justified. In the linked article we've documented how AI has been used and what the justifications where. We'd love to hear your thoughts and general feedback on our use of AI in development. discourse.cubecoders.com/t/a…

We made permissions not suck in AMP 3. It's one of the things where we really looked at why the AMP 2 system was so clumsy and unintuitive and re-evaluated the entire approach. Now there is just *one* place you go to set up the permissions instead of inside each individual game server with the behaviour being different depending on where you set them up. The new system makes it easy to do things like let users only access a single shard, or only manage shards that they themselves created, and makes it easier to set up *exceptions* to rules without it getting confusing what any given role or user can do. There's also an advanced mode that lets you use the builder to construct more elaborate permissions, or even enter raw permission nodes so there's no limit to the granularity you can set up.

AMP 3 is the first server panel to be fully WCAG 2.2 AA compliant to meet the needs of users with extra accessibility needs. It's completely navigable using just the keyboard, has a high contrast theme with larger fonts, clearer borders and a clearly visible selection cursor. You can bump the zoom right up to 400% and the interface remains functional, and certain features get duplicated interfaces to avoid exclusively relying on motions such as drag & drop which users with physical disabilities may find challenging. I takes a lot of work to get this right, but it's important.
