With a mediocre offense M is 7-0 or 6-1. Just a competent replacement level OC and it’s a different season.
Al Borges was pretty bad too. Remember when Nebraska defense said they knew every play M was going to run before they ran it?

He’s terrible. No creativity. Can’t run the ball. QBs look unprepared. Stupid penalties. Horrible play calling. Offensive players look confused and lost. Send him back to the Big 12. He can’t compete at this level.
He needs to realize this is the Big 10 and not the weak ass Big 12. Better athletes and more NFL prospects. What may work against weaker competition and mediocre coaching doesn’t cut it in the Big 10. Beck should have been fired before he got to the locker room.
The OC should have been fired before he got back to the locker room. Zero TD’s in 4 of the last 6 quarters. Completely unacceptable.
If you are limited at practice it means you are questionable. I know you guys just started watching football 2 years ago but this is easy stuff.
In the 80’s it was agreed it would be the first game of the year. ND started scheduling a game the week before. They broke the last contract to get an extra home game in the series.
