These people are old enough to vote, pay taxes and live with the consequences of government policies but not old enough to criticise the government? What a fascinating version of democracy u have invented dude 🐥

The audacity of asking what women offer when u can't even respect a simple boundary. So the better question is.. what do men like u bring to a relationship besides sexual expectations, wounded egos and the exhausting task of teaching u basic respect???

Build all the stupid websites u want. But before demanding that India remove #reservation , start with ur own uncle, who asks for a surname before he even asks for a name, try removing the casteism from ur own WhatsApp groups & family functions.

This article from @frontline_india does a powerful job of capturing something deeply disturbing about today's India..how hate speech and communal hostility can normalise lynching, how the mob begins to see itself as the court and how violence can start being treated as #justice . We need to reset this equation: Hate speech = Accountability, not devotion. Leader = Public servant, not God. Criticism = Democracy, not blasphemy. Rumour = Unverified claim, not evidence. Mob = Crowd, not court. Lynching = Crime, not justice. Violence = Accountability, not protection. #Frontline #Manishankaraiyar #ModiShah #mobland #Democracy #VoteChori

After reading this I genuinely have to ask..are we celebrating or are we just making enough noise to convince ourselves that we are??? Tell me is it really a celebration if babies are crying, birds are fleeing, patients are losing sleep, elderly people are checking their BP and stray animals spending the nights believing that sky is at war??

I kept checking for the hearing today. Maybe this time. Maybe this time they will grant bail. Maybe this time six years will finally feel like enough. Maybe this time the fact that an accused person has spent years in custody without a final verdict will carry the weight it should. But we knew. And yet we hoped. Today, the hope lost again. I dont know what hurts more..the rejection itself or how unsurprising it has become. I don't need everyone to agree with Umar Khalid. I don't need everyone to like his politics. I just want us to remain uncomfortable with the idea that years can disappear from someone's life while the question of guilt is still being decided. If the state has a case, let the trial decide it. If there is evidence, let the evidence speak. If there is guilt, let the law pronounce it. But dont let years of custody quietly become a punishment before the verdict. Today I genuinely hoped for bail. Maybe that was naive. #FreeUmarKhalid #JusticeForUmar

Well u ask people to listen to the pain of the general category. We should. But who listened when children were made to sit separately cuz of their caste? When surnames decided dignity??? When entering a temple, renting a house or marrying outside caste invited violence? Reservation was born from wounds, not charity. Dont erase the reason it exists. Soo general category family may have a story of losing a seat in MBBS, UPSE , MBA.. But many Dalit families have stories of losing something much older dignity, safety, education, land, opportunity and sometimes even life. Those stories deserve to be heard too.

As a CAT aspirant, QA is humbling me. As a bangalore commuter, traffic is torturing me. As an adult, my bank balance is humiliating me. As a human, adulthood is buffering mee. Apparently, everything is due... except the universe cutting me some slack.

The most important part of this story isnt merely what has been reported. Its the fact that someone finally did the reporting. And frankly its refreshing after watching prime time news turn every serious institutional question into 🎵 PATRIOTIC MUSIC INTENSIFIES 🎵 HINDU KHATRE MEIN HAI? Somehow every story gets a religious angle except the one angle that matters.. Sometimes a story just needs a journalist who opens the documents. Thats investigative journalism.

Well using one AIIMS recruitment drive as proof that India doesnt need more medical seats is a bit like looking at a queue outside one restaurant and announcing that the entire country has a food shortage. The queue tells u there is competition for that restaurant. It doesnt tell u whats happening in every kitchen in the country And this is where the conversation gets interesting. If the government wants doctors in rural India what exactly are we offering them besides a stethoscope and a prayer? Cuz a doctor doesnt arrive at a rural PHC carrying a portable laboratory, pharmacy, ambulance, blood bank, radiology department and five additional healthcare professionals in their backpack One human being cannot compensate for an entire missing system. And no this isnt about blaming doctors for not wanting rural postings. If we genuinely want doctors in PHCs and CHCs then we should make those places worth staying in. Cuz serve the nation is a beautiful sentence. It is not a substitute for a functioning workplace. So better diagnosis is that, this isn't necessarily a surplus of doctors. It can be a failure to connect where doctors are produced, where jobs are created, where doctors are willing to work and where patients actually need them.. cuz u cannot solve a broken distribution system by shrinking the supply #MBBS
MBBS will no longer be a professional course by 2030. Its condition is becoming like BA/BSC The government is shamelessly increasing seats but there are no jobs to provide. In the coming days people will make fun of the doctor and call him an unemployed doctor.

Closer to God. Farther from people. Closer to the idol. Farther from compassion. Closer to the front. Farther from equality. Closer to privilege. Farther from humanity. And finally... closer to God? Or just closer to the idol? Cuz if getting closer to God means pushing another human being away then maybe we should stop asking how close we are to God and start asking how far we have travelled from being human.

Please stop victimising urselves. Please stop victimising every criticism by converting it into a personal attack. Please stop victimising political discourse by turning every disagreement into an emotional emergency. And most importantly please stop victimising governance itself with this endless competition over who gets to be offended first. You are politicians. Not professional victims. And certainly not contestants competing for the national title of: INDIA's MOSSSSST OFFENDED POLTICAL ENTITY

And I am really wondering that these are adults who have spent decades in politics. They have ministers, MPs, lawyers, strategists, spokespersons, researchers, communication teams and entire armies of people whose actual job is to think before posting. Yet the national political conversation sounds like: She made fun of him. He made fun of her. Well, they started it. No, YOU started it. Fine, AI image. Counter-AI image. Thats offensive. Thats satire. That's propaganda. No, thats humour.

Dear Indian #politicalparties u dont have to like each other. U don't even have to agree. U can fight over policy, ideology, governance, history, economics and every comma in the Constitution. But just occasionally try behaving like adults who understand that dignity cannot be a one way subscription.. When ur opponent is mocked:- Freedom of expression! Political satire! Democracy! When ur leader is mocked:- This is an attack on our culture, our democracy, our civilisation, our ancestors and possibly the solar system.

Yes, Gen Z, Gen Alpha and every generation unfortunate enough to follow should all focus on what they can do for India. Produce more wealth. Pay more taxes. Accept rising costs. Adjust to unemployment. Adapt to inadequate public services. And write a thank u note to the government for allowing u to contribute. Then light a diya, beat a thali, Mehngaii ho ya salaryy khaali.
