Ibrahim Kaya does not defend animals from a safe distance.
Across Turkey, he puts himself in harm’s way to expose cruelty, protect vulnerable animals and demand accountability. His work is not limited to dogs, he stands for every animal whose life is at risk.
A well-known animal-rights advocate and columnist, Ibrahim is also a very dear friend of ours.

No organisation can save all the dogs. Not ours. Not yours. Not the biggest or the richest.
The scale is too great.
Real change takes governments, communities, vets, rescuers, charities & citizens working together.
It takes a movement. Not a brand.

Despite being local, no one has visited the site to see the impact for themselves. As I say it’s very disappointing as basically no one cares about local, ethical, environmentally focused companies. It’s all about the money. @BristolLive @AlexGSeabrook @TonyDDyer

Wednesday marks one year since Sergeant Snuggles went into a kennel on what his family says was a 10 day quarantine.
Pima County has held him ever since. His family's Sept 28 federal filing says the county's own form set his release date: October 17, 2025.
Picture your dog behind a kennel door for twelve months. The county's chart, as quoted in that filing, has him on trazodone and gabapentin "for shelter stress."
It says staff were told not to talk to his owner, who learned of a January medical emergency eight months later.
The family paid an $11,000 appeal bond, per the county's memo. The woman who was bitten opposes his destruction, the family's lawyer told KVOA.
If the records say what that filing says, Pima County is warehousing a family dog and keeping his family in the dark.
Sign the petition. Call Pima County.
Ten days was the promise. One year is the record. Pima County owns every day in between.

Just Me Saving Dogs CIC is a small, independent, non-profit dog rescue rescuing dogs predominately from the Lancram kill shelter in Romania.
Rescuing a dog involves finding a safe foster placement in Romania where they stay until they are ready physically and mentally to come to a rescue in the UK/Germany or France. The rescue then finds them the best home with full rescue back up.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
For the last 2 and a half years
hundreds of thousands of loving dogs have been bagged up alive, buried alive, neglected to deth, dyed of thirst, hunger even by shovel in municipal animal shelters, injected on wrong side with poison in #Turkey 🇹🇷.

The Risk of Delay: If the court continues to delay or orders more slow Section 7 reports, the mother will inevitably wear down the 8-year-old, conditioning her to become just as blank, anxious, and detached as her 11-year-old sister.

Our business was immediately given just 7 days to clear our unit of heavy building materials and 12 years of confidential business records.
We have been pushing ourselves to our physical limits to comply
