MIP-8 is live today on Monad mainnet! MIP-8 addresses a huge inefficiency in how state is stored in the EVM, by assigning contiguous slots to the same disk page, thus making lookups of multiple contiguous slots MUCH cheaper
Now each chunk of 128 slots only costs one lookup, how it always should have been
Monad is addressing fundamental inefficiencies in the EVM execution layer. This is the first big one since the launch of mainnet, with many more to come

right now monad need some fun on chain,
some fun here and there on the chain that'd attract users
tho most of these things rn is because the candle is not green, once it turns everyone w be happy hahaha
want to personally believe that they're waiting for the unlocks before they do something
they wanna take care of that anyway they can before they can fire down on what they're supposed to do (that's just me)
but for now, their focus is defi, shipping cool things as foundation but none of these things matter if no one is having fun on the chain, just wish they understood this
