Neo Tokyo is, hands down, the most interesting Web3 community for me. Why? Back when minting opened, you couldn’t just buy your way in with X dollars. Entry wasn’t gated by capital, it was gated by knowledge, endurance and the ability to co-op with others. S1 Citizen free mint had to be earned through riddles that made plenty of people sweat. (Including me) Here’s the part that stuck with me: you could form a team, grind for days, and solve under pressure, knowing thousands of others were doing the same at that exact moment. Keep in mind that back then there was no „bRo LeTs aSk ChAtGPT“. (Crazy to think about that, right?) That experience bonded many Citizens emotionally to their NFTs and set the bar for community quality way up.. WAY UP. Those riddles were anything but easy, they were brutal. And that’s exactly why the community is still thriving, why it’s so strong, and why it’s packed with hyperbrains. The insights from years of Discord AMAs alone are priceless.. hard to quantify in money, if not impossible.. I’ve always optimized for experience and knowledge, especially from concentrated “hyperbrain” hubs like Neo Tokyo.
