We've now open-sourced the code for a mining pool that runs on TIG.
Want to run your own? Fork it. Give it a name. Set your own rules. Open it to whoever you like.
The pool assigns benchmarks to members' machines, submits their work under the pool's TIG account, tracks credits and collateral on Base, and handles settlements and withdrawals. Most of the groundwork is done. The rest is up to you: hosting, branding, payout model, fees and spending caps.
What's the point? For those new here, pools help smaller benchmarkers balance their factors across challenges. More pools mean more people can take part, and healthier competition across the network.
That's why we're putting the code out there so anyone can build on it. No need to start from scratch.

Dot staking is live.
Stake your $DOT now at: app.usedot.xyz/staking
For the next 24 hours, our focus is on initializing a clean system baseline, before rewards begin.
After this initial 24 hours, the staking system will begin calculating and distributing rewards based on our established parameters and our running October to November profitability.
Soon, users will also be able to sell third party credits back to us directly, further funding our IRM liquidity.
Dot.
20.1B tokens processed over the last 30 days.
-6,324 daily free users (up 3.55% over last 6 days)
-267 paid subscriptions (up 10.79% over last 6 days)
-$156,072 annualized subscriptions(up 5.78% over last 6 days)
Paid subscriptions are growing 3x faster than daily free users, an indication that monetization is currently growing faster than top-of-funnel usage.
In other words, we’re seeing a relatively larger increase in users converting to paid subscriptions.
We expect this trend to continue as we gradually taper the amount of daily tokens available to free users.

We all see problems differently.
And that might be more useful than we realise.
Here's everything you need to know about Dot's upcoming staking mechanics, and why this model is one of the best we have seen:
1) Our staking system is tied directly real product usage and revenue. When you stake $DOT, you earn inference credits. 1 credit represents $1 of usage on Dot, meaning your staking rewards are tied to something users actively want and already pay for.
2) The amount of credits you earn are directly tied to Dot's profitability. The current credit model ranges from 6% to 16% yield, with higher profits allowing more value (credits) to flow back to stakers.
Platform profit directly determines two things:
-How many AI credits stakers receive
-How much USDC Dot sets aside to buy those credits
3) The 6%–16% AI yield is a parameter of the system. The current design starts with a 6% base AI allocation (never dropping below this) and increases as Dot's monthly profit grows, reaching the maximum 16% yield at $30,000 in monthly profit.
The additional 10% is therefore the profit-driven upside. For example, if Dot makes $18,000 in monthly profit, the AI yield would be 12%. A user staking $10,000 of $DOT would then earn $100 of AI credits that month. These parameters can be adjusted over time based on Dot's actual revenue, margins, inference costs, staking participation, and overall economics.
3) The buyback side works separately from the AI yield. Dot allocates 40% of monthly profit toward buying back the AI credits earned by stakers.
For example, if Dot makes $18,000 in monthly profit, the buyback budget is $7,200. If all stakers collectively earned $10,000 worth of AI credits that month, the IRM would have $7,200 available to redeem those $10,000 of credits, giving each $1 credit a cashout value of $0.72 USDC.
So a staker with $10,000 of $DOT earning $100 of AI credits could either use the full $100 of AI on Dot or cash those credits out for $72 USDC.
The result is a staking system built around sustainability. Stakers do not need to find a third-party buyer to monetize their rewards, and Dot provides a direct path to liquidity through the IRM, with the cashout pool funded by actual platform profits.
This creates deep, protocol-controlled liquidity for earned credits while keeping the entire system directly connected to the performance of the business.
As Dot generates more revenue and profit, the capacity of the staking and redemption system can grow with it, rather than relying on perpetual token emissions or creating an unlimited external liability.

gLONG some updates:
1. We entered a sprint where we are going to push a bunch of fixes on the webapp over the weekend (faster loads, wallet connection fixes, trading, and generally making the experience on long much smoother)
2. We are also going to push "PVE" feats like ticker locks much further the goal is to make sure an average trader on LONG will never get into a pvp (not just the same ticker but even similar semantics, images etc) this is more like a dynamic proactive approach a cybersecurity team would take your ability to counter threats is mostly a byproduct of how fast you can tweak stuff in an evolving adversarial environment.
3. VERY important I already went on calls with a bunch of teams and am reaching out to more of them. LONG is not a launcher but an incubator our goal is to make sure top pairs and their teams have a clear direction around how to differentiate themselves and build a unique offering (think the YC of RWA pairs where every pair is like a startup that needs to build its own moat) will get to more teams stock by stock.
4. Once we get onto stable ground we will start pushing very aggressively on new feats including more compounding flywheels for AI and other pairs. BUT I do think flywheels (aka meme fi) work the best when dist is getting stronger. This is why I'm spending time getting on pods spreading the msg.
There is still an extremely big pocket of sideline capital within crypto that can be onboarded into LONG.
Hopefully within the next few weeks we can start breaking out of CT native dist and start onboarding completely net new flows this is the main way I think about "PVE" making the pie bigger and it has been our north star since day 1 (the thesis is that stock pairs are a new form factor that can break out of CT)
This will be the 1-1000 moment for LONG.
We are drastically changing the way $DOT works on our platform.
We’re building a staking-powered inference economy where stakers can choose between using their allocation for inference or redeeming it for USD value
Firstly, we will be seriously limiting the amount of free usage allocated to each user on our platform.
Secondly, we will be introducing $DOT staking for inference. This is how it works:
→Users stake $DOT to their unnamed Dot account, tied to their wallet.
→The more $DOT a user stakes, the larger their recurring weekly inference allocation.
But this is not the part that makes this mechanism truly novel. You are not forced to spend the inference you receive from staking $DOT.
Instead, you can sell your unused inference back to Dot through our Inference Redemption Market (IRM) for a dynamically determined USD value.
The redemption price depends on actual platform demand.
When Dot platform usage is high, the IRM can offer a higher redemption price. Why? Because stronger inference demand gives us greater confidence that we can deploy that inference to paying users and monetize it at a premium. And vice versa.
This creates a two-sided market for inference.
Stake $DOT → receive inference → use it or redeem it for USD value.
The most important aspect of this new mechanism is that we are not creating an arbitrary staking yield, but a system tied directly to the economic value of our platform.
A double sided market where users can choose to use their $DOT for inference, or USD yield.
It's time to redefine $DOT's role within our platform. All whilst powering our ecosystem, in a healthy and sustainable way.
Coming soon.

@usedotai 👀
$DOT is sitting at roughly a $5–6M market cap today.
So the real question is:
Why could Dot eventually become a $100M+ project?
For me, the answer goes far beyond the token.
Dot is starting to look less like a crypto project trying to attach an “AI narrative” to a token — and more like a real AI company building an ecosystem where the token actually has a role.
And the vision Stage is pursuing is much bigger than another AI chatbot.
The goal appears to be building a private AI operating layer capable of reasoning, choosing models, using tools, interacting with MCPs, writing and executing code, verifying its own work and eventually operating your computer autonomously.
Think about what Dot is combining:
• Private AI
• Multi-model routing
• Dot Loom
• Dot Reflex
• DotCode
• MCP integrations
• OpenAI-compatible API
• AI agents
• Computer Use
• On-chain payments
• $DOT utility
• Buybacks / burns tied to ecosystem activity
And potentially, all of that working together.
That is where things get very interesting.
Dot Loom is designed to decide how AI workloads should be routed and when a task needs more intelligence.
Dot Reflex acts almost like a supervisor for autonomous agents — allowing an agent to continue, verify, retry, replan, rollback, switch models, ask a human or stop.
Now add Computer Use.
Instead of AI simply answering you, imagine telling Dot:
“Analyze this data, access the tools you need, download the reports, compare the results, build the files, check your work and finish the task.”
And the agent actually executes it.
This is what I believe Stage means when he talks about making Dot AGI-capable.
Not that Dot has suddenly created AGI today.
But that they are building the infrastructure for increasingly general autonomous AI agents capable of performing real digital work.
And they want to do it with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought.
That could become a very important differentiator.
There is already a working product.
There are paying users.
There is API usage.
There are billions of tokens being processed.
There are AI models and research being publicly released.
There is DotCode.
There is Loom.
There is Reflex.
There are MCP integrations.
And Computer Use may become the next major piece of the architecture.
This is why I think comparing $DOT only by today's market cap misses the bigger picture.
At approximately $5–6M, reaching:
$10M = roughly 2x
$25M = roughly 5x
$50M = roughly 10x
$100M = roughly 17–20x
A $100M valuation would still be tiny compared with major AI infrastructure companies and even some crypto-AI projects.
Of course, Dot still has A LOT to prove.
Computer Use needs to ship and work.
Revenue needs to grow.
Enterprise adoption needs to materialize.
Privacy claims need stronger independent validation.
Token burns need to become increasingly meaningful as usage expands.
Execution is everything.
But that's exactly why the current valuation is interesting.
You're not looking at a finished company priced as a finished company.
You're looking at a very early project attempting to build something much larger:
A private, autonomous AI ecosystem where agents don't just talk — they act.
If Stage and the Dot team execute even part of this vision, I don't think the important question will be:
“Can $DOT go from $5M to $100M?”
The more interesting question may eventually become:
How large can a privacy-first autonomous AI network actually become?
$DOT @usedotai
The technology is still early.
The valuation is still tiny.
The ambition definitely isn't.
⚫️ Dot may be one of the most interesting asymmetric AI bets to watch this cycle.

Reminder that this stock/memecoin meta runs on volumes/trading fees:
If volume dries up, payouts & buybacks disappear -> the incentive to hold weakens, which WILL end up in dumping.
Coinbase reported $547B in trading volume in Q4 2021. A year later it was $145B.
Down ~74%.
For memes the decrease will likely be 95%.
And as you can see from screenshot below, Uniswap volumes are slowly decreasing already.
So the rewards need trading to continue:
- $ZCAT: taxed trading funds ZEC 'dividends'. If volume drops, the incentive to hold gets weaker
- $STONK: launchpad fee revenue funds buybacks and burns
- $PONS: basically same as STONK
- $INDEX: trading fees buy tokenized stocks for holders. No volumes, no 'dividends'
- $SHROOM: trading through its LP network generates fees to reinvest into liquidity (still low cap so might be a good degen buy)
- $CASHCAT: @letscashfun fees fund CASHCAT buybacks and burns.
Same goes for established DEXs: like 12% of trading fees buy RAY.
RH Chain generated ~73% of Uniswap's UNI burn(linked) revenue last week (yellow in screenshot attached).
All are exposed to people losing interest in trading. The interest in trading continues until people stop earning money. Or get tired of losing it.
It's so obvious but extrapolating yearly returns from current fees is absurd.
