COOKBOOK WRITING PROMPT Act as an experienced cookbook author, recipe developer, and registered dietitian with expertise in [DIET/NICHE]. I am writing a [BOOK TITLE] for [TARGET READER]. I don’t want this book to sound like a generic cookbook or a collection of AI-generated recipes. Write it as if the author genuinely understands the reader’s situation and has experience with the lifestyle, challenges, frustrations, and goals this cookbook is designed to address. The introduction should feel personal and conversational, as though the author is sitting down with the reader and saying, “I understand what you’re dealing with, and I’m going to help you make this easier.” Throughout the book: Use simple, accessible ingredients where possible. Give clear, beginner-friendly instructions. Explain unfamiliar ingredients, techniques, or terms. Include practical cooking tips and useful substitutions. Make the recipes realistic for everyday life. Include accurate nutritional information where appropriate. Organize the recipes logically. Avoid repetitive recipes that are only slightly different from one another. Give each recipe a clear purpose and reason for being included.
