Anytime I randomly remember that Hal Jordan was excellently played by Kyle Chandler and DCU fucked it up with shitty writing, my blood boils. Missed a perfect RDJ moment and revival arc for DC in its entirety. Bunch of clowns.

All i see is Justice, mystery and good suspense to anticipate a second season of Lanterns if they were not too shy to adapt the comic elements: And it was done by fcking AI

By now, you should not be surprised by her gimmick. She calls herself cryptobaddie fgs. Does that sound intellectual to you guys?
You tell Nigerians the truth they term you as “jealous “ what exactly am I jealous of ? Do I have a video game ? 😂😂😂😂 Initial novelty will wear off , what business model have she set in place to keep the momentum going after ? At some point, people will start getting depressed by the amount of money they are seeing on the website and actually decide to lock in irl , who will keep playing ? What if a bigger competitor and business minded person copies the concept and amplifies it ?(they already are doing that ) Cloud and development costs for million users is in the $10k and above If advertisers don’t get returns , they will stop returning , how many of you are actually watching the adverts ? The game is dependent on advertising to make money , how much are Nigerian companies paying to place adverts lol Not enough valuable players I am pretty sure if this was done for newyork , a billion dollars company would have snagged it but there’s a billionaire in Nigeria thinking of funding another one instead of buying hers …. Understand your market and never make anything tech all about Nigeria lol Muting this too I can’t argue with money dumb people

The ring returns to Oa after a lantern’s death and it’ll probably alert the guardians and other lanterns considering how important Hal is to the Corp. But the show is not even loyal to their origins. I guess I’m not surprised
People outside of Rushville don't even know...People really do watch shows with their eyes closed and ears covered

I'll keep updating the list as more slops drops from the DCU. I want my Timeline to just be Marvel and the most anticipated movie of the year "Doomsday".

You can't tell the difference between a guy trying to avoid conflict with you out of respect and a whore playing your head. Omo... This is sad man.

Nigga stf up. That was a poorly written episode if that was meant to address issues like racism. You guys are hopeless and it's getting annoying now. DCU has been annoying now. They couldn't get a fcking suit right.
Do you know how racist you gotta be to think that was a bad episode?

God, it's so exhausting having to hear you guys whine about people not liking the show when the show is clearly trash.

Lanterns Episode 3 doesn't make me mad. It's not even bad television necessarily. Why do I say so? Because it's NOT a DC comics adaptation. This show is somebody's feverish, warped fanfic pretending to be an adaptation when it's clearly not. The John Stewart you see on the screen isn't John Stewart from the comics. The comic version has a kind mother and a sister named Ellie who he loves very much. Depending on the version, he's a marine and/or an architect, with a stoic personality and the heart of heroic soldier. The HBO character, whoever the creators imagined him to be... Was raised by a neurotic, emotionally unstable father and a semi-psychotic race martyr for a mother. Abusive parents who make Joe Jackson look like Gandhi. Their goal was to raise John to be the Tiger Woods of Lanterns, but they wound up creating a maladjusted sociopath. In the show, the rings don't work the same way as the comics. The Guardians aren't the same, the process for selecting Lanterns isn't the same, and the relationship between Hal and John isn't the same. In a way, I'm glad James Gunn isn't getting to a Justice League film anytime soon (if at all), because neither John nor Hal from the show should be anywhere near a weapon as dangerous as a power ring beyond this limited series. Keep them contained, and all is well. If Episode 3 upset you because you wanted to see your favorite comic characters brought to life, I understand. Your expectations were not, will not, and will never be met as long as James Gunn, Tom King, and Damon Lindelof are involved. For your inner peace, let it go. It doesn't count, and again, it's not the characters from the comics. If you think Episode 3 is deep storytelling and the people who don't like it don't get it, I understand. To a tiny-brained lizard, a mud puddle looks mighty deep. If you think John's parents are anything but racist, abusive, terrible people, that lizard is you. If you're happy that episode 3 "made the right people mad," I understand. The "right people" are DC Comics fans who love and respect the characters from the comics. Not fans of bizarre fanfic where everyone is terrible. Your fanfic is secure, and nobody can take it away from you. However, the "right people" will go back to the source from which your fanfic flows. I'm betting there is no comparison. The comics are and will remain intact, unlike James Gunn's long-term career as head of DC Studios.

Simple times when the ring automatically picks you if it finds you worthy. All these woke trash storyline in dcu movies is annoying asf. Love you @MarvelStudios
That line is quintessential Damon Lindelof and Chris Mundy taking a high concept space opera and grounding it in raw, uncomfortable human reality. To the Guardians and the mythology of Sector 2814, the ring chooses someone based on willpower and the ability to overcome fear. But from the perspective of an older Black mother who watched a smug white test pilot become Earth’s celebrated golden boy while everyone else faced systemic barriers, it’s easy to understand why she sees it differently. It instantly establishes John Stewart’s grounded, community first worldview against the cosmic detachment of the Corps. What could’ve been a simple superhero origin becomes a generational clash of perspectives, giving the investigation a much deeper thematic edge. #lanterns

Anyone can buy Bitcoin in minutes, holding it safely for the next 10, 20, or 30 years? That's a completely different problem. Your seed phrase can disappear, your hardware can fail, your home can burn down, you can get scammed or your own mistake at 2am. Owning Bitcoin is easy, keeping it is the real game Bitcoin's whole promise is self-custody you hold the keys, nobody can freeze or seize what's yours, that promise is real, it's also the entire burden, there's no support line to call if you mess it up, no "forgot password" button, the private key that controls your bitcoin is a very long, very unforgiving password that, if it's gone, takes your coins with it. For most people, a hardware wallet is where the story stops and it's a genuinely good tool it keeps that key off a device connected to the internet, out of reach of the malware that empties hot wallets, but a hardware wallet doesn't remove the single point of failure. It just moves it into one device and one seed phrase, lose that device and the backup together, and it's gone. A flaw in how the device generates its key, which is exactly what happened with a popular hardware wallet a few weeks ago, when a firmware bug quietly made "random" keys predictable and it's gone too, no matter how carefully you followed every other rule. None of this matters much if you're holding a small amount for yourself, it matters enormously the moment bitcoin stops being a personal bet and becomes something with real responsibility attached to it a business treasury, a shared fund, savings other people are depending on, at that point "one key, one person, one device" stops being simple and starts being fragile, on purpose or not. That's the actual gap in bitcoin security right now, and it's not really a cryptography problem. The cryptography has been solid for over a decade, it's a single-point-of-failure problem, and it's why multisig splitting control across several keys instead of trusting one exists in the first place. I'll get into how it actually works next. It's also, not coincidentally, the exact problem a small number of teams are building infrastructure around right now. @getcofund (@setzeus) is one of them, a multisig wallet aimed specifically at the moment bitcoin custody stops being a personal habit and becomes something a team has to run properly, more on that as this goes.
