US FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES WITH 'DEEP SADNESS' THE PASSING OF ALAN GREENSPAN
FED: GREENSPAN'S LEGACY ENDURES AT FED IN THOSE HE MENTORED, ECONOMISTS HE INSPIRED AND FRAMEWORKS AND PRACTICES HE HELPED SHAPE
If I were one of the 201, my confession would be simple.
I collect art for the feeling before the floor.
The piece has to follow me home in my head first.
That is the secret I would seal into my capsule.
201 seats. One story each.

Set your reminder below 👇
Sometimes you’re chasing money and you forget that life is passing you by.
The time you spent doom scrolling through X could’ve been spent with your loved ones.
As I’m watching my son grow older it hits me so hard. I often ask myself, is the money I make worth me sacrificing the time I could be spending with my loved ones?
Will I be 50 and regret chasing money like this?
Feel like we are so hyper monetized that we have forgotten that money isn’t the most important part of your life. It’s the people around you. The memories you make and the legacy you leave behind.
We Chase 6 figures and fancy cars while there are people in the world who are food insecure or may not have the best living space and yet those people are happier than us.
Food for thought

AI SELLOFF GAINING MOMENTUM, BARCLAYS WARNS
Barclays says the AI-driven market selloff could continue, with investors in a “sell first, think later” mode.
Analyst Emmanuel Cau notes markets are still broadly resilient, but fears of AI disruption are driving sharp sector dispersion. Traditional labels like cyclicals vs. defensives matter less; stocks are now grouped by perceived “AI immunity” or vulnerability.
Commodities, industrials, healthcare, and consumer goods are seen as relatively AI-safe. Media, software, financial services, logistics, commercial real estate, and parts of tech are viewed as exposed — with selling increasingly indiscriminate despite steady earnings momentum.
Barclays warns the pressure is spilling into credit markets and weighing on banks. Near term, momentum may be hard to stop, though the bank sees longer-term opportunities emerging.

Crypto used to be the frontier for speculation.
This came in two forms:
1. Genuine interest and optimism in the underlying tech and potential use cases.
2. High inefficiency and low institutional/professional participation, which resulted in high volatility and good trading conditions for retail.
That has changed.
AI is the frontier for speculation, and has many more tangible use cases and impact than crypto in a much shorter time frame.
Crypto has some cool stuff but use cases have generally converged towards speculation, and the memecoin cycle/max financial nihilism + crime cycle brought out the worst of that paradigm.
Retail got siphoned into short-lived, extractive scams and insider-bundled shit sandwiches with a million different tokens instead of participating in public, liquid markets.
In 2017 we all felt like geniuses for a while (before losing everything) because massive trend and momentum effects were both lasting and also easily accessible via centralized exchange listings.
Even after losing money, the temporary wealth effect made us come back believing that we could do better when (more of an ‘if’ at the time) the market recovers.
That’s quite different from being sent into a launchpad abattoir where the lifespan of a coin is measured in hours and if you don’t get lucky or have inside information, you’re down 99% within a day.
It shouldn’t be surprising that retail traders prefer 0 DTE options, equity futures, metals, and basically anything other than crypto (with the slight exception of prediction markets).
So what does this all mean?
I don’t know, I didn’t think that far.
I’ve spent 9 years in this industry, I’m unemployable, have no skills, and have formed an emotional attachment to my abuser.
Looking forward to seeing you all in the permanent underclass living pod.
Cheers

FUN FACT: 15 years ago today, Bitcoin reached $1 for the first time.
GM. Markets tend to fall on emotion and bottom on boredom. The monthly $BTC chart remains structurally sound, with PA continuing to trade above the cloud. From a macro perspective, this is an important trend signal and carries more weight than short term daily or weekly noise.
