I’ll be interviewing @dschamis, CEO of Hyperliquid Strategies (@HypeStrat). They’ve accumulated 38.7 million hyperliquid:native ($3 BILLION), making them one of the most influential players in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. What would you like me to ask him? 👀👇

PAPER is now trading 24/7 on Hyperliquid. $PAPER is the native token of @papertrade_xyz, a synthetic perpetuals platform on HyperEVM, minted to traders from realized losses and stakeable for a share of platform fees. The contract trades as a Pre-Launch perp that converts to a normal perp.

My base case is $PAPER @papertrade_xyz hitting 10B supply in the next 3–4 days. Wouldn’t be surprised to see $PAPER trading go live on HyperCore sometime after that. IMO, @izebel_eth has a pretty clear incentive to wait until more supply has been minted and emissions have slowed. Less fresh supply hitting the market, right when the recent numbers could start pulling in more attention and FOMO. Really curious to see what happens when whales who sat out the mint finally have a straightforward way to build a decent bag. Especially if farming that same bag has become much more expensive by then. Obviously, whether they actually buy depends on the valuation. On supply, I’m using ~12.6B as a theoretical reference under simplifying assumptions, not a hard cap. The path matters. If tracked LP drops below $2M, the higher flat mint rate kicks back in, so supply can go beyond that figure. Post-TGE, I’d expect people to compete pretty hard over any gap between the market price and the all-in cost of minting. If minting and selling is profitable enough, farmers have a reason to keep going. That can help refill the LP, but it also creates fresh sell pressure. If buying is cheaper, money goes to existing holders instead of directly into the LP. And that’s the other side of the launch: early minters finally get an exit too. Some will take profits, some will pull out their initial capital. Slower emissions are bullish for the setup, but we still need to see how much supply comes out once everyone can sell. Also, top 10% of holders have 92.5 % of the supply. Top 1% has 58.3 % of the supply meaning we can see some supply shock if some of them just wanna free ride since their costs isn't that high thanks to staker rewards distributed so far. For me, the real question is how much activity sticks around once the farming hype cools off. If people keep trading and stakers keep earning meaningful USDC distributions, the case gets a lot stronger. Bullish on the potential. I just think confidence has to come from watching the thing work, pay stakers and recover from rough periods. Tradability should make the incentives more interesting, but it won’t make the risks disappear. What do you think chat? 👇
Are people midcurving this and missing the next big thing? Or is it all just short-term farming? IMO, the risk/reward has been wildly asymmetric lately, even after all the inflation. Wonder when people will finally run the numbers.

Acquired 1% of supply. We'll soon know if I'm a genius or total idiot.

OI cap utilization always at 100%. Looks like its heavily protecting the house but at the same time it's slowing down the emission of $PAPER which is again... bullish?

If you’re not using AI every day to spot profitable opportunities or improving your workflow in this market, you’re just being lazy. Probably NGMI.

Tbh, I’m wondering if @papertrade_xyz can hit escape velocity and keep scaling without major systemic risk. And if they do pull it off, I’m curious whether it ends up cannibalizing HL revenue without giving anything back to $HYPE. What do you think, chat? 👇
Printed a mountain of $PAPER and already back to breakeven thanks to Staker Rewards. Now the inflation phase kicks in. Good luck to everyone, and GG to @papertrade_xyz on an incredible launch so far.
