This is almost certainly abiotic “precursor” organic chemistry. Why This Is Huge Titan already boasts one of the most chemically rich environments in the Solar System, with thick orange haze and liquid methane lakes. Pluto, far colder and more distant, now joins the club. Finding the same unknown organic signature on both suggests a common chemical pathway at work across the outer Solar System.
