⚠️ALERT: US charges man accused of laundering $53 MILLION from crypto "pig butchering" scams.
Federal authorities say Vietnamese national Trung Nguyen Van's wallets took in about $53 MILLION from crypto scams targeting Americans since 2018.
One victim alone lost around $16 MILLION after being steered into a fake crypto platform called "Triangle."
Van allegedly moved that victim's funds into private wallets immediately after receiving them.
In pig butchering scams, fraudsters build a friendship or romance online, then lure victims into fake crypto investments.

🚨 $351.6M Reportedly Stolen From Bitget
Bitget detected unauthorized transfers totaling approximately $351.6M from several hot wallets on Sept. 24.
CEO Gracy Chen said the attack allegedly compromised the wallet backend infrastructure to manipulate transaction data and trigger internal authorization processes, rather than stealing private keys.
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou also offered support in tracking and recovering the stolen funds.

🚨 AI regulation just entered a new phase.
Bernie Sanders and Rep. Greg Casar are introducing legislation that would ban artificial superintelligence and temporarily pause advanced AI development until federal safety rules are established.
The proposal also calls for a new Department of Artificial Intelligence and penalties of up to 20 years in prison for individuals who violate certain provisions.

Saudi Arabia is no longer a formal participant in Project mBridge, the cross-border CBDC payments platform involving China.
According to the Financial Times, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) completed its proof of concept on 13 May 2025 and then ended its participating membership. That was in line with the original plan: observer in 2023, full
participant in 2024, trial completed in 2025.
This is not a sudden breakup. It is the end of a time-limited pilot. Still, the story matters because mBridge is often framed as an alternative to dollar-based rails.

BREAKING: Strategy has not bought Bitcoin for 5 straight weeks.
Instead, it sold 5.43 million shares last week, raising $544.5 million for its cash reserves.
Strategy's USD reserve now stands at $3.75 billion, enough to cover about 2.1 years of preferred stock dividends.
Few weeks back Strategy said it would not dilute MSTR once NAV falls below 1.2. But In the last 4-5 weeks, they've diluted MSTR below that level anyway.
This harms current share holders a lot because Every share sold dilutes existing holders, and they're being diluted to fund a Bitcoin position that's already down $8.84 billion.
