$QTC will launch on near.com. near.com will be the first venue where users can access @QuantusNetwork's post-quantum asset. Quantum-secure, cross-chain, confidential from day 1.
Post-quantum money is coming to near.com. Quantus will launch with @near_intents as its day-one listing partner, making near.com the first venue where users can access QTC. Hear about it first at: quantus.com/launch

This blew up more than I expected, thank you to everyone who read it. Since the article went out: • The near:native listing is imminent. The QTC token contract on NEAR went live on 28 Sept and a solver has already registered on it. • Price is now hovering around $100 per quantus:native • Hashrate has tripled with it, and @QuantusNetwork now puts the cost of mining a coin at around $45 to $80 Now for the interesting part. I've been monitoring the Quantus github and there have been some potentially huge developments over the past 48-72h. Back in July, NEAR became the first major chain to let you switch your account to a quantum-proof key. The switch is one transaction and you keep your account and everything in it, but you need a wallet that can create and hold that kind of key, and today that's one wallet, @MeteorWallet Quantus built its whole chain on ML-DSA, the NIST post-quantum signature standard, which is the same scheme NEAR adopted in July. So its wallet already makes the kind of key NEAR now accepts. In the past 72h Quantus pushed code to GitHub that lets a Quantus wallet, including the offline cold wallet, be the key to a NEAR account: open an account where it's the only key, sign any NEAR transaction, and sit as a voting member on a NEAR treasury through Trezu. As far as I can tell that makes the Quantus cold wallet the first offline quantum-proof signer for NEAR. This is exact gap Near One's CTO, Anton Astafiec (@_bendersgreat_) flagged in May, when he wrote that current hardware wallets don't support quantum-safe signing at all and the goal was "to collaborate with hardware wallet manufacturers to bring new solutions to the market as soon as possible." It hasn't been tested live yet, by their own notes, and it doesn't cover Intents swaps. But put it next to the rest of what we know: - Quantus maintains forks of NEAR's core software - NEAR's bridge factory deployed the token contract - NEAR Foundation is co-hosting the QDay conference - And now a Quantus key can sit on a NEAR treasury That reads like two teams building together rather than a project getting listed. So the questions I'm now asking are whether the Quantus cold wallet ends up as the default quantum-proof key for NEAR, and whether NEAR's own treasuries end up with one on them. If either is yes, next week's listing is the smaller of the two stories.

Your entire life will be summarized into a 500 to 1500 word eulogy read by someone else. That thing you’re worried about probably doesn’t matter. Since the end is the same no matter what, you might as well make it interesting for yourself and go for it.

When you die, your life will be summarized into facts about your early life, 1–3 short anecdotes showing your qualities, what you meant to others, and who you’re survived by. Whatever you’re stressed about today won’t make the list.

Personal observation: You get absolutely better returns at the top ends of achievement because oftentimes assets pool to the winners. The problem is to achieve the highest levels you have to give up proportional amounts of the things you hoped the achievements would get you.
