The registration lock cost now halves every 8 days instead of every 16 days..
Which means.. new subnets can register cheaper and sooner
Protection against deregistration falls from 120 days to 60 days
Which means.. new subnets have half as long to prove themselves

I think bittensor:native could be one of the more interesting trades heading into the US midterms.
Sitting around $294 now.
AI regulation is becoming a political issue, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more capital rotate into decentralized AI as a result.
What makes Bittensor interesting to me is that there's actual economic activity behind the narrative.
Its subnets are reportedly generating $50M in annualized revenue across different AI verticals, with plenty of room to grow.
The market seems to be paying very little attention to what's being built.
Wouldn't surprise me to see TAO outperform significantly if decentralized AI starts getting the attention it deserves.

Some of the loudest voices can't move their token past ~$50k market cap now. Maybe it's easier to attack what others are building than to build something yourself.
