Over the past years, we've built and launched a lot with Crypticorn — and learned just as much along the way.
Now we're evaluating what the next chapter should look like. 🧵👇
DEX pairs often trade across multiple pools with different LP fee tiers.
A 1% pool takes twenty times the cut of a 0.05% pool. That extra fee drag bites both entry and exit.
Check which fee tier your router selects before you confirm the swap.
DEX alerts ping on momentum, not contract safety.
Skim permissions on-chain before you size a signal. Active mint rights, freeze authority, or uncapped sell taxes turn clean breakouts into trapped capital. Verify the code before chasing the chart.
Myth: you need 100x moonshots to grow on DEXs.
Holding for 100x usually means riding a 10x back down to zero. Real edge comes from taking profits on 3x to 5x moves with real exit depth.
A banked gain beats a screenshot you cannot sell.
Walk away when tilted.
Taking a loss stings, but rushing into the next token to get even turns a small cut into a blown account. Risk rules vanish once frustration takes over. Close the browser and reset before taking another trade.
Not financial advice.
Never average into an illiquid dump.
Buying more to lower your entry on a thin pool does not fix a bad trade. It gives trapped sellers exit liquidity and doubles your bag in a pool with zero depth. Cut or hold flat.
Not financial advice.
Scale-in beats the FOMO lump sum.
New DEX breakouts often fake the first move. Sizing a small probe gives you room to breathe. Add only after price holds support. Full size on the first green print turns normal wicks into panic exits.
Not financial advice.
When an on-chain setup moves fast, how do you handle priority fees: default wallet setting, aggressive bribe to beat reverts, or pass on the trade?
Myth: a trending ticker on X means real buyers are stepping in.
Raid groups and bot comments can trend any token in minutes. Social hype is cheap. Check unique buyers and pool depth on-chain before you enter. Likes do not cash out your trade.
Two solid runners this evening!! 🔥
- 35x on $FTR
and
- 15x on $1
Alert feeds show off the 20x runner. They rarely mention the ten pings that went to zero.
Log the multiplier on every call, including scratches and full fades. The average across thirty alerts shows whether the signal works or burns fees.
Unlimited token approvals let a DEX router spend your balance forever. If that contract gets exploited months later, your wallet can be drained without a new signature.
Set an exact spend limit for each trade. Revoke open allowances when you finish.
A single DEX alert tells you volume moved. It does not tell you why.
Look for stacked signals before you enter: fresh unique wallets buying in, and pool depth staying steady.
Volume without growing buyers or stable liquidity is usually a trap.
How do you size your entries on a new DEX trade: a flat dollar amount, a fixed percentage of your bankroll, or scaled by conviction?
Myth: renounced ownership means a token cannot rug.
Renouncing ownership removes admin permissions. The deployer can still dump their pre-mined tokens or drain an unlocked pool.
Check top wallet holdings and LP lock before trusting that badge.
