We will be migrating a lot of servers as well as adding new ones (Paris, Helsinki). It will be a bit of chaos, so please stand by as we try to do this as smoothly as possible!
We've replaced most servers and added some more. Service interruptions may occur, but usually reconnecting will fix that. More servers to be added over the weekend. Thanks for bearing with us through the transition!
Sales are open again! Get access to CrypticVPN now on crypticvpn.com
I'm happy to announce we are no longer shutting down. The company has been sold. Once everything is transferred over to the new owner over the next few weeks, sales will resume. The company will continue using @RocketrNet to process payments!
I'd like to thank @RocketrNet for providing us AWESOME payment processing services for the past 12+ months. Although we are closing up shop, if we ever start-up any other business ventures, you will be the first payment processor we consider.
We will be shutting down operations by the end of April 2018. More info here --> hackforums.net/showthread.ph…
We now accept LiteCoin as a payment option. xitter.cf/RocketrNet/status/9744…
We're excited to announce FULL @litecoin support on our Storefront platform as of today, the Rocketr PoS app available on all iOS devices as of tomorrow, and Rocketr's newest Payments platform scheduled to launch later this month. Thank you #PayWithLitecoin and $ltc supporters 🚀
We've been reviewing our website traffic logs and have noticed a large amount of brute force attacks on our login page. As a result we have implemented captcha's on our login page. We will also look into implementing 2FA for our users.
We've just updated our CrypticVPN Client to utilize OpenVPN 2.4.5. If you would like to update, simply go to 'Programs and Features' and uninstall your current OpenVPN as well as the TAP-Windows Adapter and launch the CrypticVPN client to be prompted for an update.
We've been receiving a lot of abuse reports related to mass spam/phishing and other types of malicious emails being sent by users hiding behind our VPN. We have applied new filtering rules onto our servers which should prevent these emails from being sent.
We are going to be replacing our NewYork/SanFrancisco/Germany/Singapore/India nodes over the next 90 minutes. Brand new IPs and more powerful servers to meet your needs. :) Will post an update when it's completed!
New feature: You can now specify if the port you want to open should be TCP or UDP as some applications require a specific protocol. Enjoy!
TCP has been upgraded on all servers. All port-forwarded ports had to be reset due to a major upgrade.
