Following the scene on Titan where Quill starts beating Thanos, this is the second moment in 'Avengers: Infinity War' where Thanos could have been defeated before performing his snap.
Strange said he saw all possible futures and that there was only one out of 14 million in which the Avengers were going to defeat Thanos.
I have always wondered how that was possible because there were these two moments in 'Infinity War' when there really was the possibility of taking the gauntlet off Thanos or killing him.
At first I thought it had to be a plot hole because if Quill doesn't lose it or Thor goes for the head or chops Thanos' arm off, there is no way Thanos is still performing the snap.
But what Marvel were really trying to tell is that there was not a single future where Quill keeps his cool or Thor takes immediately goes for the kill.
In other words, Quill was always going to lose it when learning about Gamora's death and Thor was always going to try kill Thanos slowly and make him suffer.
Of course, this is very questionable from Marvel, but it is what they wanted us to think.

You’re totally wrong sir. Language goes a long way.
I'm tired of this madness. If fluency in Yoruba language is he only thing you have against GRV, that means he is overqualified for the position. Governance is not done in Yoruba language. Do you want good governance or you just want a Governor that speaks Yoruba and doesn't know what he is doing in office? How many times have Sanwo-Olu spoken to you, before we even address the matter of him speaking to you in Yoruba. He probably doesn't even consider you relevant to address.
When I was in Kebbi state offering legal aids to keep people out of prison, I couldn't speak Hausa. I used an interpreter. That is how the world works in 2026. Nobody cares what language you speak if you can get the job done. If you're doing international business, you'll use an interpreter. If you're in a forum with multinationals, you'll use interpreter.
If yoruba language fluency is your problem. He will use an interpreter to address you. You are too educated to be this foolish in 2026.
