🚨 Half of All Bitcoin Is Now Underwater For the first time in this cycle, more BTC is sitting at an unrealized loss than in profit. 📉 About 10.5 million BTC are currently underwater, compared to 9.8 million BTC still in profit. What does “underwater” mean? It simply means the current Bitcoin price is below the average price many holders paid, so they’re holding losses on paper.( on paper, because they haven’t sold at a loss) What’s making this interesting is that Bitcoin is testing its 200-week moving average, a level that has historically appeared near major bear market bottoms. In late 2018, over 55% of BTC was underwater before Bitcoin eventually bottomed around $3,200. During the FTX collapse, that figure reached roughly 52% before the market found its floor. So what happens next? 🐂 Bulls argue long-term holders are accumulating, sellers are exhausted, and a bottom may be forming. 🐻 Bears believe history isn’t finished yet and see a possible move toward the $50K–$55K range. No hogwash . No crystal ball. Just one fact: The market is at a point where fear is high, opinions are divided, and history is being closely watched. $50k btc is still on the table.
