Diving into $FTM this morning.
momentum building, strong tech, low valuation = exciting project to watch
Decentralization is an important backbone to crypto. But it is not the single marker of success in this new industry.
It also may not be as important as some people would have you believe…
👆 and gas fees are one of the many trade offs.
Does everyone in the network need to hold a copy of the blockchain for the network to be “trustless” and corruption proof? Probably not.
The mass adoption of #crypto will happen when the industry finds the balance point between decentralized security and low cost transactions.
Decentralization is critical to success, but it’s not the only metric.
The real breakthrough in crypto is not perfect decentralization.
It’s the ability to collectivize at a new scale.
The power is in the community.
