From getting stopped out on FOMC to finishing my first trading cycle with +600% ROI. Not every trade was perfect, but the overall thesis played out better than I expected. Here’s a quick recap of my journey on @SaiDotFun . 1. BUILDING THE LONGS | SEP 16 I got access to the account on Sep 16 with a bullish bias. $BTC and $ETH were trading around what I considered a potential local bottom, so I started building positions: → $BTC Long: ~$76K → $ETH Long: $2,410.16 → $NEAR Long: $2.42 Then came my biggest mistake of the week: I completely overlooked FOMC. The volatility swept my $ETH position around 18:36 UTC, closing it near $2,370. $BTC and $NEAR survived. After the sweep, I still viewed the move as a liquidity hunt rather than the start of a deeper breakdown. So I stayed bullish. 2. AFTER THE FOMC SWEEP | SEP 17–18 At 01:01 UTC on Sep 17, I added: → $SUI Long: $0.7095 The market started recovering and $NEAR was one of the first positions to expand. I later closed $NEAR: → $NEAR: $2.42 → ~$3.12 | +28.9% After taking profit, I rotated into more setups: → $BNB Long: $736.61 → $DOGE Long: $0.0818 Then on Sep 18: → $XRP Long: $1.33 At that point, my main long basket was: $BTC / $SUI / $BNB / $DOGE / $XRP 3. MARKET EXPANSION | SEP 19–21 This was when the thesis really started playing out. $BTC began printing some serious candles and almost every position moved comfortably into profit. But after such a fast expansion, the market started looking overheated to me. Instead of adding more risk, I started reducing exposure. Sep 21 exits: → $BTC: $76,532.58 → ~$83,420.57 | +9.0% → $BNB: $736.61 → ~$784.48 | +6.5% 4. CLOSING THE REST | SEP 22 Around 01:00 UTC, I decided to close the rest of the book. → $SUI: $0.7095 → ~$1.0288 | +45.0% → $DOGE: $0.0818 → ~$0.09940 | +21.5% → $XRP: $1.33 → ~$1.5154 | +13.9% That completed my first trading cycle on @SaiDotFun. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? On Sep 23–24, the market started correcting shortly after I de-risked. Looking back, the journey was pretty simple: $ETH: stopped during FOMC $NEAR: first winner $BTC / $BNB: closed into strength $SUI / $DOGE / $XRP: closed before the correction I didn't catch the exact bottom. I didn't sell the exact top. But I don't think that's necessary. The important part was: Build when the setup is clear. Stay with the thesis when it still holds. Take risk off when the market becomes overheated. First cycle: +600% ROI. Now I'm back on the sidelines, waiting for the next clean setup.
