An automatic exemption from jury service for women on maternity leave should be enacted now. Despite having raised this with the Justice Sec in Dec it has taken another woman on maternity leave being called to jury service to get this on the agenda - but women need action now.

Although we can’t all come together on #VEDay75 we are reminded of the indomitable qualities of the wartime generation. So I want to raise a glass to the class of ’45 and hope that our generation can live up to your extraordinary example. Thank you. #ThisIsYourVictory #Veterans
