When part of a sell tax goes to holders, one person's exit can become another person's payout.
I'm interested in what that changes inside a meme community. People have more than the next buyer to think about.

Launchpads should stop focusing only on launching tokens and start focusing on building real communities. 🚀
A successful meme coin needs more than hype; it needs a strong identity, an active community, fair token distribution, and long-term incentives for holders and creators. Platforms should reward genuine engagement instead of short-term speculation, provide tools for community growth, and support projects even after launch.
The goal should be simple: make launching a token easy, but make building a lasting community even more rewarding. Memes bring attention, but communities create longevity. The future belongs to platforms that help both grow together. 🔥
the same trader can be a sniper in one game and a patient holder in another. a lot of that comes down to the payoff structure.
poker makes this pretty obvious. change a rule and people adjust. in memes we keep asking for conviction while rewarding the fastest exit. then wonder why everyone rotates.
what interests me is adding more decisions to the game. imagine holding time changing exit costs, sell taxes feeding holder distributions and buybacks, and activity building a shared prize pool.
now you're thinking about timing, cash flow and the next round. taking profit is still part of it, but speed isn't the only variable anymore.
that's where pvp / pve gets interesting. you trade your own position while having a stake in the game continuing.
honestly, degens are very good at figuring out incentives lol. curious what the same players would do with a different payoff matrix.
Play BIG. Wear SHORTS.
the intern cooked with this one. might actually have to run a shorts-only competition.
keep thinking about poker lately.
you can fill a table with people making all the right moves and still end up with a game nobody wants to join.
memes feel a bit like that. been thinking about what makes people want to play another round.
one week of 101. $38.5k in buybacks.
pretty cool seeing memes buy each other while we work on what's next. still plenty to fix, plenty to build. feels like we're just getting started.
keep thinking about what would make me open BigShort on a random sunday.
a few memes i'm keeping an eye on, familiar faces, something i wasn't expecting.
would be pretty cool to see communities showing up for each other too. feels like that's when it gets fun.
we like the energy. 🩳

@Bigshortdotxyz
crypto friendships are weird.
no idea what your real name is but we’ve survived 3 market crashes together.
account’s back. shorts never left. 🩳
thanks to everyone who checked in and stood with us.
back to building @Bigshortdotxyz. we’ve got work to do.
could we consider distributing these tokens to users who lost funds to the fake GIWA bridge? @GIWA_by_Upbit
maybe we should reserve these tokens for future community incentives? or does the community have a better idea?
Clustered wallets abusing claims have caused six-figure losses. We’re using team funds to protect holders.
We’ve temporarily limited claim frequency. You can still claim.
We’re urgently working on a fix. Please bear with us.
bro opened a short and ended up funding the buyback. 😭
liquidated. collateral turned into buy orders. accidentally joined the other team. 🩳
